Skip the installing of drivers and software. Simply buy a card reader/writer. This is a great way to get your pictures downloaded from the camera. Remove the card put it in a card reader, download the files to where you want them, then edit or view as you please.

Have you got space on your computer to save the pics? 41 is not a 'regular' number in computing... what make and model of PC? What operating system are you using?
pretty easy to replace the screen, i suggest buy SD300 from ebay that has lens problem, but it is known for sure that screen is working, you might find one for $20-30, also look for SD200 you might find it cheaper and it uses the same screen as your SD300

There should be a switch on the card, move it in the opposite direction. If this does not work, format it in your PC.
