Possible explanations and work-arounds based on various blood pressure monitors..net is if it has worked religiously like mine had and this error comes up, and the simple fixes below do not work, there is something internally wrong with the unit..there does not seem to be any customer reset or obvious fixes..contact the manufacturer for service..

«Err 3» No pressure in the cuff
An adequate pressure cannot be generated in the cuff. A leak
may have occurred. Replace the batteries if necessary. Repeat the
measurement.

    Just called Samsung customer support on this exact sr303s model and Err 3 issue and they said that this error occurs on this 'older' model when the batteries have been in the unit too long. They suggested taking the batteries out, let it sit for an hour (to possibly drain any residual memory effect that might be causing this error) and then put in fresh alkaline AAA batteries to see if it fixes it..if it doesn't there is no other troubleshooting that can be done. I also asked and there is no reset sequence either. As a side note, the batteries in my unit were on the border but not dead or leaking)..

    I have the same unit under discussion. I did replace the batteries and verified the memory was zero by pushing the MEM button. I kept using over a three day period a few times each day and it started working again. The error 3 states that the pressure is to high in the cuff. if the unit is filling the bag and depletes slow, it may not be a leak but a pressure sensor that may need to be used after sitting for a while as mine was. that means your batteries are not charged fully. I'm assuming you have new fresh batteries? Does the panel stay up long enough to show the charge level?

1) Try to get the band as tight around your wrist as you can with the sensor part of the strap across your wrist nearest the palm of your hand, and try it again.

There are 3 things can cause the EE error code.

1. Cuff was placed incorrectly. Wrap cuff snugly around your wrist 1" above the heel of your left hand.

2. Moving or talking during measurement. Measure again keeping your wrist steady during measurement.

3. Shaking of the wrist with the cuff on. Solution is the same as # 2.

Walgreens digiital blood pressure monitor model HD303 keeps saying Error code 3 have put new batteries in the correct way?

Since that BP Monitor has a 5 year warranty. Your best bet is to contact HoMedics (the manufacturer) Customer Support @ 800-456-3342. That's assuming you replaced the old batteries with new one's out of a in date package and all are placed properly.

You didn't mention how long you've had this wrist monitor, but it may be a case of it not being used properly. For it to work best, you need to keep your arm/wrist still at heart level. Place the cuff on your wrist, at least 1" above the heel of your hand. Be sure the strap is fitted snugly ground the wrist before starting the unit. Then remain still. Don't flex or shake your wrist during the testing procedure. You may also need to change the batteries.

If none of the above solves the problem, most BP wrist monitors have a 5 year limited warranty (check your Owners Manual for yours) and will allow you to return to them for repair or re-calibration. But you must have their approval before sending it, as well as your Proof of Purchase.

Deflation Error - Movement or talking was detected during measurement.

Turn off the power and make another measurement while being quiet & still.

Err 3 is displayed

Wrist blood pressure monitors must be used with the arm above heart level. You can do the pledge of allegiance while doing a reading to make sure this is done. Usually this error occurs when inflation takes too long or the placement of cuff is wrong.
