I pressed something on my M216 when checking my voice mail and now my phone message and all prompts are in spanish. I need to know which commands to press to change them back to english

• From the Home screen, tap , then tap Call icon.

Press the Voice Command key, and when prompted, say turn prompts off. To turn Voice Command on, press the Voice Command key and say turn prompts on.

Verizon's voice mail service accepts messages for you when you are busy, or just don't want to answer the phone. The basic service will record up to 20 messages, with a three-minute maximum per message. The messages are held for 21 days, after which they are deleted automatically. Voice mail is usually included when you first activate your service, and you can check to see that you have voice mail from the "My Verizon" account area on the Verizon website. If you mean setting up voice mail out-going message, then see below (for AT&T cell service). The phone will dial the voice mail center for you after you set it. Then it will check the number of messages on the system. Press Menu > Messaging > Settings. Then select Voice Mail and enter the phone number for the call center. Then press the AT&T button to exit.

To listen to the messages, press and hold 1 or press Menu > Messaging > Voice Mail. Then the number set above will be dialed.

To set up the voice mail box, start as you would for listening to the messages above. Note: you must use your wireless phone and be inside the AT&T coverage area.

To set up your voicemail box:

1. Follow the prompts to create and enter a 4- to 15-digit voicemail password.
2. Record your name and personal greeting, then press the # key
3. After completing the setup process, press * to return to the Main menu.

To create a memo for yourself, press Menu > Tools > Voice Memo (or if using the advanced menu, Menu > My Stuff > Tools > Voice Memo). Then press Options > New (or Create New, if you have created one before). Press Re-rec to record and pause to momentarily stop recording. Press the AT&T button to stop recording. Press Play to play back a memo and the AT&T button to stop play-back.

Access the main menu of your Samsung Go Phone. Hold the #1 key down until you are connected to the voice mail system. If for some reason pressing the #1 key doesn't connect you to voice mail then call customer service at 1-800-331-0500. You will be connected with an operator who can help you troubleshoot the voice mail problems on your Go Phone.

2 Follow the voice prompts and select "Listen to Messages" from the list of options. Bear in mind that checking voice mail on a Samsung Go Phone will count against your prepaid minutes.

3 Once you have finished you can select the "Delete Message" option from the voice prompt if you wish to clear your voice mail messages. If not, you can simply press "clear" or hang up the phone to leave the voice mail system.

Note: Once your voice mail account has been set up, you can use the Voice Mail folder (under the Message menu) to view details of voice messages in your voice mail box.

to dial voice mail.

2. Follow the prompts in the new user tutorial to setup your mail box.

Hi,
1.Turn your phone on and press and hold the "1" button on your keypad in normal standby mode.
2.Enter your four digit passcode with your keypad and press *. If you do not yet have a passcode, you will be prompted to create one.
3.Press "1" to listen to the options in English, or "2" to listen to them in Spanish.

4.Press "1" to record your own voicemail greeting. Wait for the beep and speak your greeting into your phone. Press "1" again to confirm your greeting.

5.Press the red "End" button on your keypad and your voice mail will be set up. Press "1" again or at any time to listen to your voicemail by entering in your passcode and following the prompts to navigate your different messages.

I have FiOs and used some of the info I gathered from this page to get my voice mail working now! To set up my voice mail I called my phone number (from the house phone), then pressed * when the automated system picked up...Your prompted to use a 4 digit pass code, which is the last 4 digits of your phone number (worked for me). From there I listened to the prompts and created a new "4 digit pw" as well as a "name password" by the end of the cycle. It then allowed me to listen to the messages on the phone and delete them! Phone finally says ready on it.
