March 1, 2010 I purchased a DeLonghi coffee Maker, Type DCF112. Last week I started to make my morning coffee and the coffee maker would not work. It would not even heat up - it just quit.
I still have the sales receipt from Target. Can I return the coffee maker to you and get a new one - or will you repair it. Thank you, Beverly Grant

Boy I know that I like coffee as well. Can you modify the filters to work? Cut on them or what ever,all you need is the paper layer there. let me know on how it works out on here . Not real cool to give out email address on here or address,Way too many creeps out there
I had a black and decker coffee pot do same thing and it was brand new. here is how I fixed it.
make sure the filter seated down good. If you look at the top of the coffee pot it should open up the little valve of the coffee filter holder. also mine had a little water spout above the coffee filter that swings over the filter. make sure it is over the filter. I know my coffee pot is different, but I think the problem is the opening from filter to coffee pot is not open some how so the water is flooding over the filter and going out the sides onto counter hope this helps
1) Open the lid 2) Take out the filter basket. 3) Take out the Coffee Tank and fill it with water to the appropriate mark at the back of it. (Should be a stepped type marker) 4) Pour the water from the Coffee Tank into the Water Reservoir in the coffee maker it's self. (This should be on the left side of the metal warming plate. 5) Place the Coffee Tank back on the brew station. 6) Place the Filter Basket back in the coffee maker 7) Add a coffee Filter and 5 Tablespoons of coffee 8) Close the lid 9) Press the Brew/Start button (The top left one)

Their global website is http://www.delonghi.com after clicking the region that you live in search for user guide. You must have a model number vs a name of your coffee maker (example) BCO110 to download your manual. The model number should be on the bottom of the coffee maker.
