Nokia3110c Not playing 3GP files downloaded form Youtube.com

This phone has limitations in playing flash videos. You may try downloading opera mobile which was made under Java Programming Language and thus supported by this phone, or go to m.youtube.com

Hi there.

1- Since, youtube videos are in .FLV format, you need to download youtube videos and save them in as new specifc folder.

2- Then you would need a converter that converts FLV files to 3GP etc. You can find different converters that does the job. Most of them are shareware / trial versions that work well and if you like them, there's no harm in buying one if you want to use it on permanent base.

Yes E72 can't play flv format video files, you have to convert them to mp3 (In case of Audio) and/or 3GP (In case of Video), before sending them to the phone, means on your PC.

Windows media player will not play a 3gp file because it does not have the proper codec to play that file, and microsoft has not made a codec for their media player to play any 3gp files.

Realplayer SP will play your 3gp files and it is a free program. If you would like to try it out you can download it from Cnet here,

you can't watch youtube videos from that unit, unless you download it and convert into .3gp format

The Youtube videos you downloaded form Youtube are usually in flv format, while your Samsung supports playing video in 3GP or MP4 format, therefore, you need to convert your Youtube files into 3GP or MP4 files so that they can be played on your samsung .
