JVC EVERIO GZ-MG175

If I put the memory card from my digital camera into printer, it tells me it has initialized the card, and the number of photos etc appears on printer screen.

If I put the memory card from my Everio GZ-MG175 into the printer, it tells me it has initialized the card, but there are NO photos on the card - but I have taken quite a few, and they all show distinctly on the Everio.

Is there something I am not doing, perhaps before removing card from Everio?

Any help greatly appreciated.

I took camera to shop where I bought it and asked them direct, so they could show me what I needed to do.

I actually decided against using FixYa - not because I didn't think you would give me right information, but because of the cost - I'm on a pension only.

But thank you for contacting me.

I have Fixed Camcorder memory and cannot retreave photos from it.

first of all - you need to remove your existing memory card from the device
second - you need a usb cable that will connect the camera to your pc and that should do the trick.

What does it mean when I get a message that says "please insert memory card" on my JVC Everio GZ-MG21U?

Make sure you're using an SD card, not a higher-capacity SDHC card. The GZ-MG21U works with SD cards, not with SDHC cards.

What size micro memory card does the JVC Everio GZ MG360 take

The GZ-MG360 takes microSD cards. Make sure you get a microSD card, not a microSDHC card. While a microSDHC card will fit into the slot, it is electronically incompatible and will not work. microSD cards go up to 2GB in size, microSDHC cards start at 4GB and go up.

I need mac software for my jvc everio gz-mg360bu camera.

There is a chance that you will be able to get back some or all of your digital videos from your JVC camcorder based on your Macintosh.

First things first: DO NOT take any more videos with the memory card or stick that you want to recover videos from in case you may quite possibly ruin your chances of video recovery.

Quick Internet searches will reveal a tremendous number of Mac recovery programs. Here are some for your reference(there is no freeware I suppose)

Data Recovery (from Mac Update)

Caution - Do NOT try & write anything back to the memory card of stick until you can recover your videos safely!

I have a JVC Everio GZ-MG21EK Camcorder can anyone tell me the maximum sd card that you can use with this camcorder

There is no limit beyond the limits of the SD cards themselves. The JVC Everio GZ-MG21EK camera DOES NOT support SDHC cards, so you are restricted to the smaller capacities of the non-SDHC SD cards. I am successfully using a 2GB SD card in this model.
