I cannot connect to skype. Skype is downloaded, up-to-date, and I've already tried uninstalling and redownloading it. I cannot get it connected.

IF U HAVE A SKYPE ACCOUNT UR TOSHIBA LAPTOP BUT DIN,T WORK .......FIRSTLY U CAN GO UR CONTROL PANEL & UNINSTALL UR SKYPE ACCOUNT . THEN U CAN INSTALL UR SKYPE ACCOUNT AGAIN & IT WORK.IF U HAVE,T ANY SKYPE ACCOUNT PLEASE DOWNLOAD ANY WEBSITE OR DOWNLOAD ANY SOFTWARE CD........

may be it hacked or may you skype account balance is over or may be your typing wrong password

Please uninstall the skype software clear the temp file restart your system the reinstall the skype and loging to your skype account it will work fine.

if you have downloaded and reinstalled skype your typing chats will have been totally deleted
open skype click tools fromthe drop down list select options
IM& SMS show advanced options then choose a folder to save my files every time

If yes but the problem persists, you can try a system restore to a date earlier than the date of the changes you've done.

try uninstalling and reinstalling skype from the internet you can get the skype setup file from the below mentioned url download it and save it in the dasktop

click on download now
and save it in the desktop its very easy

CAUTION -before doing that make sure you get all your contacts saved in the computer

you can try to redownload and install it or try to create a nev account.

Try To Remove your Skype program Restart the computer and go to Skype.com and redownload Skype as sometimes they have update on there download. Good Luck

I believe you are trying to use this cam on skype.Skype has a setup for your cam/mic.follow the prompts.and set-up. if still not working uninstall cam drivers and redownload new from the net @ logitech.com.RICHARDM69
