    I am sorry, but it seems that the chat seems to be disconnected every time. You could visit the below link :-

    You would be able to find the closest service center.However, as i suggested, as you already did try to swap batteries and only an issue with one handset, taking it apart for loose wire or replacement would be the best option. You could call Panasonic and ask for repair quote and you would know the solution.

You could buy a new handset from :-

The cost of the handset is less than $25. If the unit is under warranty ( less than i year old ), you could contact the service center and get it replaced without any cost.

The average cost of repair is around $75 on this set for display. That is one of the reasons why we recommend buying a new handset. This is a common problem on most of the handsets. We did everything that we could - swapping batteries and making sure that it is properly registered.

I know, it is not a good new, unfortunately there is no reset button unless you take it apart and look for a loose wire or connection. That is the only possibility.

I've unplug the phone for 30 min and still no pic nor any display. screen is completely blank

GE Thomson would like to know the solution.. I have 2 of these that work fine up until we experience a Power Failure.. I have 2 that will not restore after disconecting all connections and reconnecting..

You would need to change the screen. Go to a phone repair shop to assist you in changing the screen. It will cost you a little.

The screen became blank
I would say the LCD is dead. They seem prone to that because we have had to replace two handsets with exactly the same problem. The one lost the top row of the screen, the second is completely screendead. Though all is not lost. Any GAP compatible cordless handset will work with that base, so you can replace them and not have to buy an entire system :) Ebay is a good source for handsets only.

Sounds like a power problem.
This model of phone will work as a regular corded phone when no ac power is available.
IE the cordless function is only available when you have electricity.
- is the ac adapter plugged into a working outlet.
- is the ac adapter working.
- is the ac adapter pluged into the base.

Msg-blinks no display
Hi Dan, Yes it is a very nice system, but like any device it is sensitive to electrical storms and power fluctuations. A surge or sag (AC power going up or down), can cause the sensitive digital chips to get damaged, and from my experience if you have tried resetting the unit, and your msg lites continue to flicker and the LCD is blank, it has some serious damage and needs repair or replacement.
