I got a sd card today and am unable to put in my laptop can you help

For you to put an SD card into your laptop, you have to possess a SD card converter. Normally, it comes with the card if you bought it new but if there is none, you have to purchase one.
When you get the converter, you can slot your SD card into it and then put the converter into your laptop.

Does your computer system have an SD port? if it doesnt then you can get a memory card adapter that will enable you insert the sd card into your computer system

Why is it not working and unable to read SD?
Try putting your SD into your PC or laptop to see if it is readable there. If not then a bad SD card and may need to reformat it. If it is readable there may only be certain models f SD cards that this stereo can read.

How are you trying to transfer? With a cable from the camera to the laptop? Try putting the SD card directly into the machine, hopefully it has an SD card slot

How do I get my files off of an sd card(for a phone) that neither a phone or computer can detect?
hi this might help, ime not sure but try it, take card out of phone and put it in sd slot on your computer if it has one, if it dose not read the card, then go into windows explorer then computer and see if it is there, if it is then right click on it then press properties this will tell you if the card has anything on it, if it has then press it to bring up the info on the card, pictures and music and all data, hope this helps you...

If you have a mem card smaller than an SD card, get an SD adapter from a fon store, or an electronic store (like Radio Shack) and put your mem card from your fon into the SD adapter, then insert it into the appropriate location on your laptop. The laptop card reader will then open up the card for you to view your fotos.

Sd card jammed in sd card slot
This may sound bad, but I promise it isn't. Have you tried removing the SD card with a small pair of needle nose pliers or even some twizzers? It sounds like the spring mechanism failed, so your only solution now is to pull it straight out, a little force and it should come right out. There are no pins to bend on an SD card.

Sd card
I had the same problem. so what i did is i created a back up on my computer and format it the sd card. and it had a bad file in it that was causing the problem. once i format it the card it was ready to be used again. just make sure you look for that corrupt file so you don't put it again to the already clean card. also i removed the sd card from the g1 and plugged it straigt to the computer. I hope this can help you like it helped me.

Helpwith downloading from our sd card to our aspire 5920-6313 laptop pc we did it yesterday but for somereason cann't today
pull the sd card out of the laptop and then reboot the laptop restart it most people put their laptops on standby for some reason and ushally causes more conflicts then need be. Try that see if it helps if not I will look at your units documentation to see if there is anything related to that which would solve this issue quickly for you.
