I cant get my galaxy tab to stop making a phone ringing sound and it is driving me insane can you please help me

my blue tooth set does work, but my radio doesent mute when the phone is ringing, I cant find the sulution , even in my radio menu its not possible to mute the music when the phone rings? can any body help.thnx

Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds or until you see the Samsung logo.

Hi, for anyone still having this problem with the newer Samsung phones, I just solved the issue I posted up earlier.

To disable keypad tones, but keep your ringtone etc active, go to Profiles -> edit your 'Normal' profile.
Press right on the selection pad twice to get to phone-related settings. Scroll down to the bottom of that page of settings to the 'Phone sound volume' option, select it and adjust it to zero.

This will turn off all keypad noises and other irritating beeps while not actually turning your phone on to 'silent mode', which would disable your ringtone etc.

Hope this helps, I know I was going insane with this phone until I figured out how to turn those sounds off.
