My control panel is not functioning and the fd01 code comes up and runs for a few mins and then the code 079 comes up and then the tub shuts off for a second and does the same thing allover again. the control panel works the odd time on pump2

If you just run the belt with no one on it do you have this same problem or does it run fine? If it runs fine then you need a new walking belt. If it still shuts off then it may be your controller.

Hello, and thanks for the question. Your error code is actually "SN" not "5N" but they are sometimes difficult to discern on the LCD topside display. The SN error code is for a Non-functional High temperature sensor which automatically kicks the heater off and trips the breaker. You can purchase new sensors for $75-$85 (it could be more, my pricing index is quite a few years out of date) I'm not sure where the sensor is located in that particular tub, although it is most likely in the heating canister. Make sure the power is off at the breaker before attempting any tub repair. if you have shut-off valves to the heating canister you may not have to drain the tub, remove the heating can and replace the sensor you will have to plug/unplug the sensors from the power pack/circuit board. Not all of your story was printed. If the engine "hunts" for base idle, it could be caused by a dirty throttle body, a vac leak, or a faulty idle air control valve.
The computer controls idle speed by how much air gets into the intake thru the control valve.

Is the board getting power, is the control lighting up?
Do you see any error codes on the top side control?
Improper flow will give you an error code, caused by flow issues or a faulty flow switch. Make sure all gate valves are open and the water can flow freely.
If not then check your Hi Limit sensor. This is the overheat safety sensor if it fails the tub will not function at all.

If your Coleman has Balboa electronics 'PR' is to notify you that it is in priming mode.
It could also be your pressure switch. On most tubs the pressure is mounted on the heater. If this switch is not reading correctly it could shut the spa down to prevent heater overheating.

Check for a broken bushing for the IMRC - intake manifold runner control. Do you know what this is ?
