My SANYO TV24'' when powered on,only a bright horizontal light appeared after 3sec dissapered,no sound,no more picture.

Your problem is actually a combination of 2: CCD sensor and settings. You need to go with the cam to a professional repair center to check the CCD sensor, lens, allignment of optics, syncronization between software and mechanical componets, etc. I consider its a problem that can't be solved with professional assistance. Maybe you´ve cracked solder joints on the vertical Ic and need to resolder it

the only thing i can think of is the sensor being misconnected or kaput. are you viewing them on the camera screen or a pc? it could also be camara screen...

It needs repair.
If the line is vertical, then something is damaged on its horizontal circuit section on the mainboard.
If the line is horizontal, the vertical circuit section is damaged.
have it repaired to a qualified service center or person!
avoid switching it to avoid further damage on other parts!

sounds like you may have a bad ic it probley is a surface mount on the bottom of the board it could couse this problem would need to take to a shop to repair. The ic probley is numbered ic101 on board.

A bright Horizontal Line indicates failure of teh Vertical deflection Circuits.
Get a competent Technician to have a look.

Sounds like the aperture of your lens is stuck open and overexposing the images. Try taking a picture in very bright light like outdoors, is it completely washed out? Now take another picture indoors in much less light, is it NOT washed out but has the lines?

From our experience repairing cameras this is the lens aperture and the lens must be replaced.

this symptom, sometimes called the tube light effect, it is characterised by a bright thin horizontal line across the middle of the screen. this symptom is caused by a breakdown in the vertical deflection circuit. hence maybe the trouble maybe in the vertical oscillator, amplifier or output circuits. but if all i have said is not clear to you, better bring it to a qualified tv technician. good luck!

i have panasonic sophia tv 29" i have white horizontal line on middle of screen i know i have to solder ic but where is the ic located on main circuit board. thankx

It sounds as you desribe, the vertical output IC and or the b+ feed capacitor off the Hi voltage transformer feeding the vert. IC its required voltage. Not a really hard job to replace, but not for a handi person to do. This should be left to the professional, as there are no user serviceable parts inside this set and with the HI voltage and the safety issues its best to call somesone to assist you with this repair.
