My backlight on my keypad on my blackberry curve has stopped working?

Fortunately your phones is not in locked state, if your phone in lock state you must unlock blackberry curve 8520 by typing any password 10 times, it will erase all your data and after your blackberry unlocked you.can setup new password again. But if your A button still didn't work, it seems you have hardware problem and you must bring that blackberry phone to your nearest local phone repair shop.

whoever changed the keypad didnt do a very good job, the keyboard template underneath the keys needs replacing not just the keyboard keys

the keypad backlight has been damaged so it must be changed

Please try first to off and on your phone to refresh some system hang, if this doesn't work pull out the battery and put it back after a minute then try your keypad again if it works.

try resetting or reformatting the phone...if that does not work it may need to be checked by a technican.

You need to go into "Options" then "Screen/Keyboard" and change your Backlight Timeout settings.

1- try a battery pull with the device on

2- re-load the entire OS

3- no go?? then you gotta go try to find a service center or it's time for a new phone. Still under warranty ??

the trackball need to be clean or replaced as for the keypad it may need to be service but it might be a software issue and the OS may need to be reflash so it would be best to take the phone to a mobile shop and have it diagnose.

my keypad on my 8310 don't work. well some of the keys do but not all
