I have Frigidaire Gallery ceraminc-glass cooktop and oven, model FEF389WFCJ. The two, front expandable eyes will initially heat up when turned on but quickly goes off. The two samller back burners appear to work properly. I have turned the house breaker to the stove off and on but the problem continues. Any suggestions?

SOURCE: Frigidaire gallery stove, oven not working,

Morison,
The same thing happened to me about a week ago. I was preheating our electric oven, heard a very loud bang/pop. Checked and the oven had PF (power failure) I went downstairs and the breaker was tripped. Came back upstairs and to look at stove, the burners are working fine so I continued to preheat oven after a half an hour the oven was only slightly warm. Did you ever find out what was wrong?

Where can I get my Frigidaire double oven door glass repaired

You can buy the new glass yourself and do it, as an easy task. Or you just called a Figidaire service tech. You will need the model number and you don't tell us :>D

I JUST WANT TO REMOVE THE OVEN DOOR TO CLEAN THE INTERIOR SURFACE OF THE DOOR GLASS

If you mean between the inner and outer panes of glass; you will regret it. It's likely that both are mounted with a fragile heat-proof mineral (non-asbestos) gasket material that may crumble once the panes expose it.

Self cleaning lock is in lock position and oven door is open.

Hi,
Cycling the power off and then on again will sometimes reset it...often you will have to call the customer service number to get the steps to take to unlock that...

absolutely nothing, they are cycling properly to keep the glass top hot
you are not cooking wioth the heat of the element,
but with the heat the glass absorbs from the element
