The power light is just blinking red on my panasonic 1080i hdtv. cant even switch it off using the power button. picture and sound come on for about a second when the tv is switched on after power cord pluggin, but then everything goes off, and the red light keeps blinking.....any solutions???? thanks...

Have you counted the number of blinks that occur at one time switch ON? If not, count it. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Check this link for more details about the blinking codes. It has blinking codes to several other brands of TVs including many Panasonic models. Pull up older posts there, either by its left side bar, or see it in Timslide option.

IC4511 isnt comunicating. Replace the DG board

Without a model number I can't be to specific, but will most likely require a board replacement regardless of model. 3 blink shutdown is associcated with the 3.3v line on the main board.

By the sound of it its a dead power supply im afraid :( It is very common for them models at that age very common... it may be cheaper to fix then buying a new one but ill let you decide that one but yea theres hundreds of people that have the same problem with them panasonic's bummer dude :(

try refunding it.. becasue there is deifinatly something rong with your TV

WHEN POWER IS FIRST TURNED ON I HAVE A SOLID RED LIGHT BUT NO PICTURE. THEN YOU HEAR THE TV CLICK OFF. THEN RED LIGHT STARTS TO BLINK IN SET OF (3) TIMES.
