After washing cycle, cutlery is still wet. Particularly the top cups and glasses - puddle of water on each cup.

that will happen if the drying cycle isn't operating properly. also happens if cups and glasses have large depression on the bottom (when upside down)..... try putting them in and setting at an angle, not straight up/down.

My kelvinator dishwasher kd14ss leaves stains in my glasses cups and small bowls in the upper rack after each wash. Never used to do it before - turned up the rinse and check the salt, but after each wash...

It sounds like you need to check the filters and clean them. It’s usually pretty simple to do but makes the dishwasher run like new. I think that it might be obstructed somewhere preventing it from being able to fully rinse the dishes. Is it draining all the water after the cycle has finished?

GE potscrubber 940 isnt cleaning properly. Glasses cloudy, some dishes still dirty. Is there a filter that can be checked?

You need to add some vinegar. Depending on your water as much as 4-5 cups per load. I have had a Potscrubber for close to 10 years and discovered that they clean beautifully as long as you don't skip the vinegar.

Check the spray arms are not clogged as well as the top one take off the bottom one clear a hole underneath the arm. make sure the arms can turn freely. dishwasher fresheners hanging on the basket can stop the arm turning. clean the filter in the bottom. Is the machine heating it should be hot at the prog end.

Glasses and dishes coming out cloudy

You should try cleaning all the filters inside, take them all out & clean them well. Also remove the wash arms & make sure there is no food scraps blocking any of the water holes in them. After doing that you should run some rinse aid or dishwasher cleaner thru a cycle.

I have a Tappan Dish washer, model TDB21ORFS5. There is a strainer in the bottom and I would like to clean it. We are getting some very small particules of food left on our top rack inside of large cups...

Refer user guide. They would have given clear instructions regarding cleaning.

If you are finding it difficult pour sufficient water in the wash chamber. When the particles float remove them manually using a small cup.

It's little bit tough exercise!!

Glasses dirty looking and cloudy after wash cycle.

If there is not enough water, the dishes will not get cleaned. This could be caused by a partially closed water shut-off valve (located under the sink), or a faulty dishwasher water valve (located at the bottom of the dishwasher, behind the kick panel, on either side).

Also, There is usually two, sometimes three spray arms in a dishwasher. Make sure there is no debris blocking the holes inside each spray arm.

**Water temperature Note***

To get the best results, the water has to be at 120 degrees Fahrenheit when entering the dishwasher.

Concerning the Film, or cloudy look after the wash cycle.

This problem occurs due to excessive calcium build up inside the dishwasher. Try cleaning you dishwasher using a dishwasher cleaner. There are a few out there, Try Dishwasher Magic.

Cutlery is cloudy and dirty, some food is dried onto knives and forks. Cups and glasses are cloudy and not clean on inside. Coffee or tea stains are not removed. Plates and soup bowls seem OK , and water...

they must have changed the way they treat the water in your area. those spots are caused by hard water. www.dishwasherfilter.com has a product out for this problem. it filters the water going into your dishwasher leaving them spot free and crystal clear with every load. you will love the way your dishes look.
