Hi
Error F02 appears after 8mins of SUDs error. Error F02 means Long drain, means washer is taking longer time than normal to drain. Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display. NOTE: After 4 minutes the SUD error will be displayed, and then 4 minutes later the F02 error code will be displayed.
? Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
? Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running.
? Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.
? If the above does not correct the problem, replace the pump.

There are 3 small 9/32 hex head screws that hold the front panel on. Unscrew the 3 hex head screws (9/32 socket or nut driver size), now remove the front kick panel. Unscrew the white drain cap -WARNING-- lots of water will drain out when you loosen the white cap. Once all the water is out, remove and take out the filter trap.
Hope this helps... Please post back for more information

It will fill but once full the motor will only spin for a few seconds then stop

IT MAY BE DUE TO A RINSE PROBLEM?

WASHER WILL NOT RINSE:
If your washer doesn't go through the washer rinse cycle, the most likely cause is the water valve. What happens is the water valve will stop letting cold water into the washer; therefore, once the washer gets to rinse it will either stop or not do anything during the whole rinse cycle.
This is because when you selected your water temperature, you selected warm/cold or hot/cold. The hot water came in and you didn't notice any problems. When it got to rinse, the cold water the cold water won't come in. Therefore, the washer does nothing.
To check the water valve, first cut the water off and remove the hoses off the back of the washer. Then one at a time point the hoses inside the washer tub and turn the water back on. If you don't have good water pressure, turn the water back off and remove the strainer that should be in one end of the hose. Inspect the strainer to see if it is stopped up, clean it and reinstall it. Now repeat this test. If you have good water pressure now, reinstall hose and your problem is fixed.
If you still don't have good water pressure, the problem is in your house plumbing and you need to call a plumber. If you had good water pressure the first time you performed the test, the water valve is bad and needs replacing.
TIMER
If your washer doesn't go through the washer rinse cycle the timer may be the problem. Sometimes the timer gets stuck in the middle of the cycle or won't turn at all. If the washer runs, but the timer doesn't turn, the timer is bad and needs replacing.
Do you have anti-flood hoses leading to the machine. If you do there is probably a loose tube in the back causing a small leak. When the hoses detect that water is still flowing after a certain amount of time due to the leak it shuts down and causes the machine to turn off during the rinse/spin cycle

Whirlpool duet washer error code f-02

Error F-02 is a slow drain problem. Remove lower front panel. You will see a circular door. Be prepared for a lot of water and junk, maybe keep some old towels ready. Open, clean out, check pump which comes right behind it - see that blades rotate freely; refit carefully. You are done, for the next six months or so, depending on usage.

Wash doesn't go through full cycle

I have a Maytag model A490 clothes washer. It works fine up to the rinse cycle and then shuts down. When it reaches this point it has become necessary to manually advance the dial a short ways whereupon it will fill with water and complete the rinse and spin cycles. This happens on both the regular and the permanent press cycles. What needs to be done to fix this problem?

Bosch washer spin only

Had a repair man here for the same issue. Learned two things:

1. Too much detergent causes 'soap lock.' The electronics will get confused when there's too many suds left after a rinse and shut the spin cycle down. That's why re-running the entire cycle without more detergent solves the problem. Use less detergent.

2. There is a way to manually get the spin cycle to run using diagnostics codes. Here's what my guy did:

a. Washer selection knob in OFF position.
b. Hold the 'Spin Selection' and 'Delay Start' buttons down at the same time.
c. While holding those two buttons, turn the Washing selector knob to Permanent Press-Cold.
d. Keep the buttons held down until the LCD control panel reads 'P:01'
d. Release buttons.
e. Use the 'Spin Selection' button to cycle thru the codes. Stop when it reads 'P:04' which is the spin cycle.
f. Press 'Start/Pause' button to begin the spin cycle.

I don't know what the other codes do but this should save you from having to run the entire wash cycle.

Hope that helps! Tim
