Can someone tell me if the sitecom vp-003 webcam works with windows 7?? it kees telling me driver not found even after i installed it

It as long time ago, but I have a solution for this challenge with Windows 10 (and Sitecom VP003 Webcam).
You have to use the mic' driver from original vp003 software package and the cam driver for HAMA Metal Pro Webcam (Driver 1.0, https://drivers.softpedia.com/get/SCANNER-Digital-CAMERA-WEBCAM/HAMA/HAMA-Metal-Pro-Webcam-Driver-10.shtml).
It works for me and I'm happy ;o)

1st You download Webcam Driver.
Manhattan VP-EYE Version 3.0 reconnected
After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

There are no Windows 7 drivers available for this Sitecom EasyCam VP-003 webcam.

Although this camera is not compatible with Windows 7, I suggest to try this download link also (extract the zip file and run the setup file). In case of no luck again, before running the setup file, right click on it, go to properties and at the compatibility tab check the box for windows XP sp3 compatibility and hit apply - ok. Run the setup file as usual.

• Please follow these steps to install the driver:
• Uninstall any previously installed drivers: Start>right click Computer>Manage>Device Manager>find your camera in the list (if there) and right click on it>Uninstall
• Restart computer.
• Double click on your downloaded driver>Run>Continue/Allow>plug the camera if prompted and continue
• Wait to finish installing and restart your computer
• Your camera should work now.

Based on the information you have provided, it seems that the issue might be due to the Webcam Driver.

As you installed the Windows 7 Operating System, you need to install the Webcam Driver for the Windows 7 Operating System.

You may download the Webcam Driver from the Manufacturer Support webpage.

Click the 'download' link to what OS Logitech support for your cam
Older webcams will not have a windows 7 driver but you may be able to download the bundle and run it in Compatibility Mode

If no driver is available try using the older OS software in Compatibility Mode
Right click on the webcam icon on your desktop or the webcam file from 'All Programs' - select 'Properties'
Select the 'Compatibility' tab
Select 'Compatibility Mode'
Use the dropbox to show the OS
Click OK
Restart your computer

Not sure what camera you have, but you have to go to the site and download and install the drivers for your camera so it will work with windows 7.
If you let me know what camera you have as I can't go by what is listed above your problem and I'll help you further to get the latest drivers.

Delete the software
Re-install but do not plug the USB cable in until the software tells you to.
