I have a whirlpool tub and need to find some caps to cover the jets. Not sure what brand tub is, sides are all covered. Can you help?

try a plumbers shop as it is a whirlpool tub
you state that it is a whirlpool tub then you say don't know what brand of tub it is
whirlpool is a brand name
any way the plumbers display of bathroom units and tubs will help you as the jets used are generic and not specific for the tub

Replacing jet

When you installed the new jet, did you install a new gasket on the wall fitting or use 100% RTF type silicone?
In order to seal a wall fitting that is cracked an leaking, the replacement must have either the gasket or silicone to seal the wall fitting against the wall of the tub or it will leak when filled with water.

Can I simply silicone jets in a tub to seal them completely, so the jets don't leak? It's for a rental unit I own, bathroom on 2nd floor. Don't want to tear out the bath tub or ceiling on Main floor.

In order to properly seal the jet in place with silicone you must remove the wall fitting from the inside of the tub. The wall fitting is threaded into the jet body from the inside of the tub.
Once the wall fitting has been removed you can put a small bead of silicone around the underside of the flange and thread it back into the jet body. Clean up the excess silicone after it squishes out with DeNatured Alcohol.
If you plan on just putting a bead of silicone around the outside edge of the jet body behind the tub, do not waste the silicone or your time as it will not solve the leak in the tub.

My Whirlpool Cabrio sounds like a jet engine while in the spin cycle

believe the bearings can be bought locally, but water seal has a Whirlpool number on it that will not come up on pricelist on my Whirlpool program.I am looking for a way to cross ref. this seal and repair the tub.The last tub was over 197.00 cost for new tub and drive shaft ,bearings and seal. The bearings are Korean made and can be bought locally for alot less than a whole new tub. This is an ongoing problem with the Cabrios and Maytag Bravos that I have seen lately. Also a few of the Sears Kemores out there. There has to be an easier and cheaper repair for these thousand dollar machines.I dont like telling the customer its going to cost them 400.00 to repair their washer when it is not even a year out of warrentee. If anyone has the seal number or a cross number please post

How do you remove the jets on an american standard whirlpool tub they are leakin and i believe the seals are bad

The jets have a nut on the back of the jet. I hope you have access or else you will need to pull the tub for this job. Loosen the nut and squeeze aquarium grade silicone in between the tub wall and the nut, Tighten the nut, but not to tight. Let set over night fill and check for leaks the next day.

Aqua glass whirlpool tub leaks. looking for closure caps to close off the jets for good.

To my knowledge there are no closure caps for your tub; you can however purchase new jets with new seals if the tub is leaking through the jets.

Whirlpool tub, jets come on and won't shut off. No water in tub.

Is it a jetted tub, or a air bath tub with holes or jets in the floor? If it has holes or jets in the floor, the control box is bad and needs replaced. If it is a jetted tub, there may be a water level sensor, if so the sensor may be bad causing the tub to turn on.

Cleaning a whirlpool tub

The jets turn yellow from exposure to the sun, not much you can do except replace the jets (costly). What is leaking? if you broke the seal on a jet it will leak and have to be resealed.
