Not reading in computer and camera - Sony 1GB Memory Stick PRO Duo Memory Card

Once the pictures have gone from the camera to the computer a different code or tag is used so the computer programing can read it it's a one way ticket from the camera to the computer hard drive but not back. Once the file is opened altered (by deleting images) the camera firmware can not read the file.

You need to start the "Canon Camera Access Library 8" service. To do this (on XP, other Windows OSes are similar) you need to:
1. Right-click on "My Computer" and select "Manage"
2. Click the + sign in front of "Services and Applications"
3. Click on "Services"
4. Right-click on "Canon Camera Access Library 8" and select "Start"

use format option because hidden photos camera cannot read computer can read so better format the card

hi!we have read your problem.please dont worry, every problem has a solution.you have to connect your camera to the computer(see for usb ports) via the datacable provided in switched on condition .then your computer will be able to recognize it..hope your problem is tackled.have a nice day!!!

try take out your memory card see weither it will show you the same error.If not try to change to other brand memory card.

I no longer need to install the disc - the new computer reads right from the camera.

Can you read the card in your camera?
If you cannot read the card in the camera...wow and ouch.
Try to get the card to a friend or someone who can read the CF.
Then see if they can read the card.

Hate to say it, but with an error like that, it may mean that the CF card is not working.

Are you trying to read the CF card on a reader on the computer?
Try your usb cable to the computer instead of the reader.

It is possible that the driver has become corrupted for the reader on the computer. Try the above, see what happens.

Then computer reads the camrra another drive - look in my Computer for a new removable drice symol whewn the camerta is plugged in.
Read the Manual

Try connecting the camera to another computer. Is the camera reading the same error? If not, it's a computer issue.
If the camera is reading the same error, see if there's a way to restore camera back to the factory settings, and try all over again. Good luck :)

Reformat the card from the camera. You didn't specify camera model but every digital camera has a menu to format media.

If you don't succeed try to connect your camera to the computer and read the photos.

If that doesn't succeed either take your camera to service.
