I have a singer curvy 8763. As soon as I started sewing, I heard a loud pop and smoke came out of the machine. Now it does not even turn on. How do I fix this?

I would call Singer at 1-800-4singer and have them direct you to an authorized warranty center. This sounds like an serious electrical problem and should be covered under warranty.

How do you change bulb on singer curvy 8763? Nothing in manual, nothing online. Can it be replaced? Seems to be soldered in or something and no replacement listed either.

The Singer Curvy 8763 bulbs are LED bulbs so they should last for 100,000 hours (or probably the life of the sewing machine). Thus the bulbs aren't meant to be user replaceable. Unfortunately, even though the bulbs should last for years, Singer only provides a one year warranty on them. Thus if your machine doesn't have working lights and isn't still in that first year, you'll have to pay for the repair.

I hope this helps and wish I had better news for you if there is a problem with the lighting of your sewing machine.

I buyed a new sewing machine curvy 8763 and when i start trheading the bobbin the needle stats working as well and it starts beeping

Consult your owner's manual. There is a handwheel release that, when loosened, will allow the bobbin to wind but stops the needlebar trying to stitch.

Does the singer curvy 8763 have a low shank

Yes, your machine takes a low-shank foot. That seems to be the most commonly used type for newer machines.

Need a open darning and walker foot for my curvy 8763 which should i purchase?

A Curvy isn't an Athena. I have a Curvy and it is a low-shank machine that can use a variety of snap-on feet.

I have Singer curvy 8763 and want to purchase a walking foot for it. Will you advise please

Your machine takes a low-shank foot, and they are very commonly available, either from eBay or Amazon, or any site that sells presser feet.

I have Singer Curvy 8763. It seems that the foot control stopped to work. The machine does not sew, its impossible to wind the bobbin. It is possible however to sew backwards with the help of reverse...

I be s 8763 was sewing beautifuly, took off pressure foot to make a buttonhole read the manual followed directions button holer kept gumming up with thread and the alarm kept going off, then got flustrated, put back on the sewing pressure foot now it is like the needle is out of line will not pick up bobbin, and is definately hitting something by the bobbin, will not sew
