I'm trying to move my personal folders from a pc running XP and Outlook to a new laptop running Vista and Windows Mail. I've tried to use the import feature in Mail but get an error stating "Messages cannot be imported from the MAPI client. An error has occured," I had copied my PST file to a flash drive. But I'm not given a chance to tell the program where the file is located. What can I do short of resending all of the emails to myself? Any ideas?
Thanks!

Thanks your your suggestions. I did go to Microsoft and never really found anything other than one solution to a similar problem said Mail did not work with PST files.
Fortunately, i had recently installed software on the PC from Iolo that had reloaded the last known working setup on the PC. So, I have been able to just forward the emails i needed from the old PC to the new laptop. Yeah, it's slow. but, it's getting done.
Thanks again for trying to help!
any luck ?
