One of the Polycom HDX7000 that I look after it says the IP network is up even when there's network connected to it. Also the LED's on IP port sometimes goes on and power down and on again they go off.

It should say the IP network is up because you say it's on the network. Please clarify your second question?

I have a PolyCom 450 - it was working with my old modem - and then I just got a new Wireless Modem all in one - and now my phone states URL is disabled. How do I fix this problem. I have checked all...

Are you using this as a stand alone unit or configured for an Asterisk server? You say you got a new modem, so are you using the same router? If not, you may need to open some ports using port forwarding rules. How that is done depends on the type of router.

VSX 6000 - Time Server down

I have such a problem: when I connect VSX 6000 to the Internet, it doesn't work. It is connected through the swith D-Link, total length of network cables is about 150 metres. Inside the diagnostik I see, that Time Server is red, i.e doesn't work. But IP Network lights green! IP adress is phisical, whithout proxy and firewalls.
I want to notice, that notebook, connected to the same LAN-port works whithout problems!

Failed to get boot parameters via DHCP

You didn't provide any information about your network which is ALWAYS required to provide any type of help, not to mention a solution.

"Failed to get boot parameters via DHCP, xxx seconds until reboot" simply means that the computer isn't getting an IP address from your router. Setting up your router is another entirely separate topic.

This is pretty simple though, one of three things is happening:

1. Your router is not properly configured to provide DHCP to the phone.
2. Your network cable is bad.
3. Your phone is bad (most likely the RJ45 port since the phone seems to work otherwise).

You can check for bad ports or cables by checking the port status within the router. If the port is lit up, most likely the cable and phone port are fine. This is not 100% though, replacing the cable should always be a consideration even with a lit port.

Could not connect to our VSX 700 polycom over ASDL

for VC over IP, both end should have a dedicated bandwidth with PUBLIC IP.
this solves most of the problems that are faced in a vpn or shared network like situation!!!!

Connecting a polycom

No, i don't think si. The polycom needs an ethernet connection to a router. You might get this working by putting the 3g card into a PC and enabling connection sharing, however even if you got it work itsd a bad solution in terms of:
- Cost
- Reliability
- Security.
ADSL would be better.

Not able to getting video from Remote far end.

Is the Indian site within the firewall? If so, I would focus on the firewall. Does the US site have a firewall? They may be blocking outbound traffic. If you are connecting but no video, it sounds like UDP traffic is still being blocked somewhere. If you can, you may want to assign public IPs on the units and test outside of the firewall.

Hope this helps..

Polycom NetEngine 3300R Port Capabilities

You'll have to set up Port Forwarding on the router, to port forward a port from the 'local' zone to the 'internet' zone. And i do hope your not viewing the administration pannel on the thing in German. (polycom is german, as is their website)
