Where can I get a schematic for the Bugera 1990 guitar amplifier? This amp is made off shore but is popular and sold in the US. No supplier can help...the manufacturer has no phone number for support. They have not responded to my email I need the schematic to fix problems with it.

I have to assume you have looked at the web site below. Joining their community and asking a question from them might help find someone who would volunteer to provide you the schematic, rather than the company itself.

Hi, If you put " a schematic for the Bugera 1990 guitar amplifier?" in your search engine, you will get a selection of schematic web sites. Chose "frinthylcprobin.files.wordpress.com" There you will be able to download the schematic.

Kind regards
David

SOURCE: schematic for guitar amplifier

You didn't mention the make and model of the guitar amp, so I'll leave a link for several amps:

Try posting on some of the guitar forums. The schematics you are looking for are only available to licensed repair persons but you might get lucky and find someone who will send them to you. Be sure to state what model amplifier you want. If you are a tech try looking at some schematics for a similar amp and tracing the circuit.

Hi , i have a Bugera 1960 and my problem is send-return...when i put my boss ge-7 equalizer in it i can t hear the fx and this is the same thing for my delay pedal...i can hear but realy realy little...

The problem is the BOSS is designed to handle a guitar level at -20Db and the effects level is designed to run at either -10 Db or +4 Db. You will get better match setting the Bugerra effects to the -10 setting on the back and reducing the level... HOWEVER the pedal will want to send -20Db out which is 10 Db under what the effects return wants to see. This is a factor of three roughly in gain so the signal will be low. This is the problem using a guitar pedal in a way it wasn't designed to be used. The effects loops are looking for "line level" NOT guitar levels.

Schematics aren't going to help. The normal thing is to connect your guitar to the pedal and send the output of the pedal to the amp.

Guess what? The same things apply to your delay pedal... they are intended to accept the signal from the guitar OR the guitar like level from another pedal such as the GE7.

Bugera 1960A - channel 2 has very low volume even when vol2 knob is turned fully UP!

The user manual is located at: http://www.bugera-amps.com/PDF/Downloads/1960_P0671_M_EN.pdf on page 5; When the HIGH 1 and LOW 1 (or HIGH 2 and LOW 2) connectors are used simultaneously, their sensitivity is the same (both LOW). This may be your problem however--- Try swapping input chanels to see if the problem follows ther cable or is in the amp.
Assuming it was working before, you may have a short in the cable or a bad component or tube in the amp. Tubes can be difficult to come by. If the other channel works correctly, It may be one of the small tubes. Hope this helps
