Hi,
When the dryer wont heat it is the thermal fuse that is bad, you can test it with a voltmeter before replacing. This fuse is located inside the rear panel and it cannot be reset.

Hope this will help...

The gas dryer heats then does not heat. The sensor says 99 minutes to dry close. Tried it on timed heat and it dries then stops drying. Sometimes shutting off completely!

Hello,Cheack to make sure your venting is clean and clear..If its blocked the safty thermostat will shut the heat down to prevent overheating.. If the vent is clean i would check the coils. When they start to fail it will heat then not cycle back on..

The thermal fuse is NEVER at fault, it is only a symptom of some other problem and is a serious safety warning. Check that the exhaust vent is clean and not kinked or otherwise obstructed. When WAS the last time you cleaned the vent??

Dryer will not heat and timer switch isnt wrkn.

IN THE AUTO DRY CYCLE IT WONT ADVANCE IF ITS NOT DRYING,MOST OF THE TIME ITS A BAD THERMOFUSE, YOU NEED TO REMOVE THE FRONT PANNEL ,AFTER REMOVING THE POWER,THE SCREWS ARE THE ONES HOLDING THE HINGES TO THE FRONT AND THE ONES HOLDING THE PLASTIC COVERS OPPESIT THE HINGES ,THEN THE WHOLE FRONT PULLS DOWN. YOU SHOULD SEE A WHITE PLASTIC SENSOR WITH TWO WIRES USE A OHM METER TO SEE IF IT IS OPEN IF SO REPLACE IT AND CLEAN YOUR VENTING.

Gas dryer

blower motor relay is bad or the dials are bad
heres a way to check the dials
turn off the gas and run the dials if at anytime the dials stick during its cycle then you know this is the fault this usually the commen issues of all dryers the dials just wear out and so parts just dont work

also check the door switch this could be an issue why it gets cold clean out all vents and filters after "every use"
