Do not think so as the television standards in England are different that in North America. I suspect that it will not work in France either as those standards are different. When the games are decoded, they are decoded for the American standard. You could offer it on E-bay for some one to purchase or perhaps exchange it for an English version

Can i use my wii i brought in england in usa

I believe England uses a PAL system as USA / Canada uses NTSC. You'd have to set your Wii settings to compensate. Also, power outlets in England are different from outlets in North America. You'd also need a new power adapter.

New Wii!!! "Can´t read the disc" message.

Jessica first check to make sure that you got the right version of wii disc etc america region supports ntsc games while europe supports pal , if you do have the correct game i advise you not to update the wii and do two of the following things
1) return the wii and get a new one
2) soft mod the wii once below system menu 4.2, if mod works it should fix disc error if not the disc drive is bad and you will need to change it.

We bought the Wii Mario Kart in England and it won't work on our Wii station in the US. We get a message that says "unable to read the disc". What should we do?

It's from a different region, so it won't work at all unless you either:
A) Buy a european Wii
or
B) Mod your Wii to free up the regions.
North America and Japan (as well as some other random places) use NTSC format, while Europe (and other random places) use PAL format. You can't play PAL on NTSC and vice-versa.

Controller & two player mode problem whit Wii Sport Resort

I had this problem and it was down to be, me plugging the motion plus into the wrong controller.
I have one control with intergrated motion plus and the other uses a plug on motion plus. I accidently plugged the plug on one into the already intergrated control leaving the one control with nothing. Hence that control could not be recognised.
Hope this helps

Wii console will not read Wii Resort Disc?

The Wii Sports Resort disc is either dirty or scratched. A disc cleaning procedure can be found on pg. 24 of the Wii Operations Manual: System Setup. If the Wii still doesn't read the disc, the Wii itself could be damaged. Turn the power OFF and unplug the AC adapter, then contact Nintendo Customer Service. (1-800-255-3700 in the USA and Canada)

I have bought loads of Wii games from america and none of them work on my Wii console in England. This is because I had previously installed 3.3E. Please help me, how do I get round this problem?

England uses a different video standard called PAL. Only use games marked PAL standard. US uses NTSC which has a different method and unreadable on a European Wii.
