RA moves the polar axis--- and DEC moves the scope from side to side.

There are two knobs that turn these two axis.

NordicTrack x7i incline trainer makes a clicking/banging noise inconsistently on incline and decline when I am both using it and not using it. It can get progressively louder on a long incline/decline

This is conjecture but the incline motor is likely attached to a worm gear that lifts and then lowers the incline. There is also likely some kind of automatic "clutch" that disengages the motor from the worm drive after the raise or lower sequence is complete. If this clutch is broken or malfunctioning, then it may be trying to "grab" the worm gear when it is not supposed to (when not raising or lowering) or conversely, it may be losing its grip on the worm gear when the incline is happening. The clutch is likely controlled by an electric solenoid which may be malfunctioning. All this to say that it may be time to call a repair person.

2000 Saturn Vue, manual transmission 5 spd, trouble shifting, loud knock (more like a BANG), when shifting into 1st gear... ..constant rattle while driving.....????

Try shifting into first without pressing the gas. If it is a slow decline before engine dies this is normal. If its a dramatic engine death, your clutch is to blame, if it still makes noise then its the gearbox. If you have a Mr. Clutch Autocentre near you they will test your gearbox for free as will many reputable transmission shops.

Can start the saw but when beginning the cut the saw power declines and will not cut. Please advise

The chain may need proper sharpening--it should not have to be forced to cut quickly. Make sure the bar and chain are being oiled enough. If the engine speed does not decline much, but the chain speed slows down, the clutch assembly may be full of oil (remove the cover and wash out the clutch with spray carburetor cleaner). Make sure the chain is properly tensioned--it should be tight to the bar, but able to be moved fairly easily by hand. Check the fuel filter and air cleaner for plugging. Make sure the fuel lines are in good condition. Hope some of this helps!

When I push in my clutch my truck does not role on a decline at all is this normal also it does not roll back when clutch is fully engaged

This would indicate a clutch that is not fully releasing ,this could be caused by a weak clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder. The vehicle should role when the clutch is depressed and on a hill. But i would also verify that with the trans in nuetral the truck does roll, if not this would indicate possibly a sticking park brake or rear brakes that are to tight. Thankyou RJ

Celestron advanced gt declination motor does not working

You did tighten the clutches?

If you did the DEC gears are either loose and not meshing or have broken.

Dr. Clay in Arkansas can repair this scope but it would cost several hundred dollars-- Celestron will probably sell you the parts to fix it. Here is their web site. You can also return the mount to them for repair.

Locking screw

You will need to check out the clutch mechanism in the fork arm. Refer to this web site for disassembly pictures.

http://jan.eaglecreekobservatory.org/

Look under Declination adjustment link off the main page.

www.scopestuff.com
sells an upgrade clutch kit that improves the clutch. However if something is broken inside then this must be fixed first. Meade will want the scope returned. They usually do not sell parts; but sometimes they do sell them, so call Customer Service here:

Meadelx200 declination movement

I'm going to assume that you know you need to tighten the DEC clutch knob, and that this was already done.

There is an internal belt that connects the drive motor to the worm gear that engages the DEC assembly. Sounds like the belt has either broken or slipped off the pulleys.

The belt is model and size specific, so you'll need to contact Meade for a replacement.

You should eyeball it to make sure that's what it is before ordering anything.
