Using the One-Touch feature in the machine, I have set-up 40 Fax numbers, arranged alphabetically. I now wish to insert a new Fax number between One-Touch number 007 and 008. How do I insert a new number without having to re-enter all of the existing numbers (and names) that will follow? Is there a way to add a new fax number, and then re-sort the list so it remains alphabetical??
Thank you!
My canon ir2220i shows error code e000007-0000. what is the problem and how do i solve it immediately. please help
On an iR2220 you could use the import/export tool under 'Add. Func.' in the Remote User Interface to export the address book (an ABK file). Now open the exported file in Excel (delimited with anything). Add your new info between the correct entries using the same format as existing entries and re-number the "dn" lines. Save the file and use the import/export tool to import it into the One-touch address book (choose overwrite). A little easier than re-entering all the information.

Have you done this at the machine control panel or by browsing to the web interface? You may be able to do it there. If not you are SOL.
