Continual Paper jam HP Officejet 6310

Have gone through all the steps offered by HP to clear my paper jam (looked in all places to clear, removed & replaced print cartridges, partial reset using 3 & #, and plugged printer into wall outlet) ... but there is no paper jammed in the machine. The printer refuses to believe me. I have had this printer for two years and it has worked fine ... until this paper jam. Can any one help me?

My Printer says there is a Paper Jam for no reason then after I press OK it says that there is a cartridge error, and that they need be replaced. I have tried different reset methods.

Sometimes have been able to temporarily resolve by pulling the plug (just shutting the printer off does no good). After being unpowered overnight, most times the printer restarts without error. Still this is not a solution just a time consuming work around.

There's a couple things that can cause recurring paper jams. Most often, all the pieces of the jammed paper aren't removed. This video shows you where to look to find all the jammed paper. It also offers some other solutions as well. If the solutions in this video don't work, the printer is likely broken.

Have a paper jam I can't get to .

1. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer before you begin. With the power disconnected, you will protect yourself from being shocked. This is an important step when you are fixing any type of electronic device.

2. Move your printer so that you'll have access the back panel. Unhinge the back access panel of the printer.

3. Look for paper through the opened back panel. Remove any paper you find jammed.

4. Close the back access panel. Make sure that it latches into place and looks the same way it did before you opened it.

5. Open the front or top access panel. This is the panel you use to access ink cartridges. If the carriage that holds the ink cartridges moves, then you forgot to unplug the printer. Go back and do that now. Look for paper that may be jammed in this area of the printer.

6. Remove any paper you find jammed here. There will be resistance from the paper feeder, so pull slowly or the paper will rip and create a more serious problem.

7. Close the front access panel. Make sure that it latches back into place.

8. Plug the printer in and attempt to print again. If you can print successfully, you have removed the paper jam.

Paper jam message no paper jam cartridge gets stuck HP 6310 all in one

Paper jams can be tricky to solve. The paper is usually stuck inside the printer mechanism so even if there is no visible paper jam, you will still get the paper jam error. Try this:

1. Turn off your printer
2. Open all trays and remove any paper stuck there
3. Locate the button to open the printer, open it and remove any paper stuck there also.
4. Repeate the above step for all buttons that you can find to access the inside of the printer
5. Close all doors and put back all trays
6. Turn on your printer

PAPER JAM / CARRAGE JAM

Hello there this may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you. Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.

And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.
