This an error for out of toner. Make sure there is toner in the hopper. Do this by pushing down the hooked shaped clips on top of the hopper and at the same time move the slide to the right. Using a flashlight look into the hopper see if there is toner. There was also a mod kit for cleaning the toner sensor that should have been done. Return the slide back to normal position. Add toner if needed. If there is toner you will have to remove the developer unit , access from the bypass door. Unscrew the top of the developer unit, look to make sure that there is toner inside. Return to proper position when through. You will also have to reset the error after toner checks ( service mode ). Do this by inserting a straightend paper clip into hole located below control panel on left side. You should see a $ on control panel. Press * 4 *. Look for " ERROR ". Use arrows on screen to move through the different screens. Touch screen on error to highlight. Press OK. Turn off and back on main power switch ( lower right side ). and wait for the machine to stop (about 6 mins)
