In some cases you can damage the screen with the pen clicking to hard also the pen is easy to break with muscle bones. You can try to buy a new one or you can use a light material such as a cotton swab. Replacing a pen with a new pen might be hard but use a light material or a fine material but nothing very sharp or sharp. Gentle just touch the screen.
Since the tablet is receiving the eraser it is more likely that the pen itself is damaged. This is good news because the tablet is much more expensive to replace than a pen. You can buy replacement pens for the Wacom Bamboo tablet directly from Wacom. I will include the link but if you do not feel safe clicking it you can go to Wacoms site, click Products > Buy Now > Bamboo, you will find some pens available for about $30.

Hi,
Well sorry to say that your pen drive is damaged and you may need to buy a new one.
See if its under warranty, you will get a new one otherwise you have to buy a new one.
But to be sure that it is damaged try to do following things:-
1.see i fthere is small button on the pendrive. Some pendrives has these button, if your pen drive has then try to push it. It might solve the problem
2.Try to format the pendrive on a Linux server and install the new file system, Sometimes this fixes the problem.
If it does not fix it, sorry to say buy a new one.

If you need a replacement pen, with the cord attached, follow the instructions:
Send $5.00 in check or money order (to cover shipping and handling charges) to LeapFrog Customer Service Leapster Replacement Stylus 563 North Fairview Street Santa Ana, CA 92703
Please note that this is supposed to be for pens that are lost or damaged ONLY.
You can buy replacement pens online and it's really easy to replace. Just unscrew the panel where the pen cable enters the unit. I think there are two more screws holding down the pen once inside. I've don't it with my kid's LeapPad. I transplanted a pen from a faulty pad but have seen replacement pens online.
Just Google "LeapPad pen" and you will find many links to replacement pens. Amazon carries them as well as Walmart. Check Toys 'R Us if you have one locally.
Call consumer support at 0800 169 5435 for instructions on how to detach the stylus from the L-MAX unit. They will assist you in ordering a replacement stylus.
