Contact the manufacturer immediately. Do not attempt a repair yourself, you will void the warranty.

Wash machine leaking com underneath 12 years old

YOUR WATER MAY BE OVERFLOWING A BIT AT THE TOP, JUST UNDER THE MACHINE'S COVER.

A SENIOR LADY FRIEND HAD SIMILAR SITUATION

WE TILTED UP THE TOP ON HER AUTOMATIC WASHER AND DISCOVERED THERE WAS A LARGE BUILD UP OF LIME, LINT , OLDE SOAP AND SOFTENER .

WATER GOING INTO THESE AUTOMATIC WASHING MACHINE IS OPEN TO THE AIR AND NOT CLOSED IN.

THIS HARDENED MESS WAS INTERFERING THE WATER FLOW, CAUSING SOME WATER TO RUN DOWN ONTO THE FLOOR.

There is a blob of soap on clothes at the end of the cycle which means it did not get on the clothes during the cycle the washer is only 4 months old and it happens about every fifth wash

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

4 months old- still under guarantee/warantee I would expect?
Contact the manufacturer's service desk/ Vendor's Help line rather than have us at FixYa attempting to help and, in the process, possibly invalidating the guarantee ;-0(
Sorry.

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

My machine is not getting rid of all the powder from compartment 2 but says not to use compartment 1god knows why and that is where the initial water is going into for programme. Have only had this washing...

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
I suspect that compartment 1 is for prewash/soak only and 2 is for the main wash.
As you have had the washer only for a month I would immediatelycontact the vendor or the manufacturer's Service/ Help line as it is presumably under guarantee? If you attempt anything else it may invalidate the guarantee!!

If this has assisted and/or clarified the situation for you please consider a 4 thumbs up on our rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

8 months old- it is still under guarantee then?
Contact the vendor/Beko Service Helpline as soon as you can! It was good to check/clean the filter but do not do anything else which might invalidate the guarantee ;-0)

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Our 3 month old machine started making a high pitched squeel the other day during the wash cycle. Now it has started on the rinse cycle on the Quick setting. Model LD149.

I share your frustration with the same machine. Mine is approx 3-4 months old and within the first month i had a leak at the base of the machine which was fixed under warranty. The following month the machine started leaving water in the base of the unit after the wash cycle was complete. LG claim it is an electronic fault in the circuit board. I have refused repair and am now claiming a replacement with them. I don't feel it is acceptable for a machine that's only 3months old to give problems such as these.

Have a look at the hose that runs from the dispenser to the tub front.
They can leak when they rub against the shell.

Water Leak

when you clamped it down you will have to add a 1/2 inch pipe ,about 5 inches is long enough.Use the pipe to clamp your hose to with adjustable clamps not Spring clamps. The pipe serves as a union here. Please rate this !
