Microphone makes a static sound when it gets moved. The static comes through the speakers when the microphone is held in different positions. Could it be the cord or the connection to the mic?

reduce the volume of the microphone

a simple aa battery and a couple pieces of wire is all you need,connect wires to the speaker and then by attaching the wires to the end of the battery you can make the speaker move. when the speaker moves out follow the wires just as they are on the battery . the positive side of the battery will be the positive to the speaker. hope this helps.

That means that if too much power is going to the speaker or extraneous signals are being picked up by the wiring, it can come through the speakers as static. Stopping static requires finding and eliminating that extra electricity from transmitting through your speakers.
If you're still hearing distortion, turn down the volume on your amplifier until the distortion goes away. If the volume is too low to be easily heard, the problem may be that your amplifier produces too much power for your speakers to handle or that your amp and speakers have different impedance ratings.

make sure you have the right one selected and in the volume box make sure the microphone box has a tick in it or select the voice tab and make sure that you have the right media selected also select volume make sure the box for microphone has a tick in it

if your computer came with a motherboard disk the drivers could be on it

Send it to Shure to get it repaired.

the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
be sure to wear an anti static earth strap before touching anything inside your computer
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the CPU central processing unit and your sound card dust causes static to build up in a computer causing it to overheat any many other problems

Try moving belt pack around on person (speaker) and try moving receiver closer to person speaking, also keep receiver elevated, off floors and antennas need to be up. Wireless signal is like "line of sight" and if there's a ton of obstructions you're cutting signal strength. Also make sure you ALWAYS use fresh batteries, weak batteries will do the same.

The static noise may be a defect. If your laptop is still under warrent, contact dell for a warrenty replacement. I had the same problem with my inspirion. Sigmatel

I don't think many people have a trouble free web cam, whatever make or model of pc or web cam. I get echo and feed back; if that's wot you mean by static, or do you litterly mean static. Helps to have your volume down a touch and the person who you are speaking to also, especially if it has a built in microphone(sorry, not checked your model), a seperate microphone is best as it's away from any possible speaker feedback from your pc's speakers, or any other clse electrical interference.
