The Main controllers always seem to be the problem on these quads. If you have a voltmeter you must check the batteries for a complete charge. You should read 24volt or around 24.60 vdc. If you have a full charge usaully 12-16 hrs by the charger supplied with the quad. Than check the output to the motor by disconnecting the motor wire and put your leads in the sockets and verify if you are getting voltage to the motor. Make sure you re-connected the battery before testing the controller output. You should see a varying voltage from 0-24 vdc when the throttle is turned. If you do not see anything at the motor lead and your batteries show charge. the controller is faulty or you have a bad connection. Un-plug and plug and connectors.
What is the problem when my son 48lbs. twist's the throttle and we hear a whinning/grinding sound and the quad doesn't move. If i lift the back tires off the ground the wheeles will turn but we still hear the same sound. the quad is like new and is kept indoors when not in use. Any thoughts or soultions????
this is what happened to my sons...same situation, kept in a garage when not using, fully charged, back wheels moving, brand new machine maybe 5 months old...what was the solution? Were you able to get it fixed?
Just purchased one, used it for 3 days, fully charged today and same problem. If I lift back wheels off the ground acceleration is fine, when he sits on it it sounds like a grind, he only ways 40lbs
