Replaced thermal fuser and thermistor. Cannot reset the error message for IR5000s. Entered *28* Function Clear, try to touch ERR but nothing registers. So therefore, cannot clear the error message.

ERROR CODE E000350 001...

This is a fuser/thermistor error. You may have to get it serviced, but try to reset the error code using the following:
Enter the service mode (Press "Additional Function" key, Press "2" and "8" simultaneously, press "Additional Function" key again).
Go to COPIER----FUNCTIONS-----CLEAR----ERR. Here you can reset all error codes on by one.

E000001-0003

The error code is indicating that the fuser thermistors are not detecting a tmeperature in a set amount of time. Try resetting the error code by going into service mode: Press the additional function key, then press the 2 & 8 keys at the same time, then the additional function key again. You should be in service mode. If not press the reset key serveral times to make sure everything is reset and try getting into service mode again. Press the " COPIER " button on the display and the screen changes. Press the " FUNCTION " key across the top of the display and then " CLEAR " then " ERR " and finally " OK ." You have cleared the error out of the copiers memory. Turn off the copier waits a few seconds then power back on. If the error comes back then you have to have the fuser assembly either rebuilt or totally replaced. If you can get a new fuser it can be replaced in a minute by removing the two screws that hold ii in place and putting in the new one a securing it. You will have to reset the error and you may want to do it before replacing the fuser. If it still doesn't work then you may have worse problems that a qualified tech will have to determine. Good Luck.

Canon IR 330s - i have error message E004. how do i clear it?

This is an error for the thermistors in the fuser not reading temp correctly. Go into service mode by the standard Canon way - Additional Function key, 2 & 8 held down at the same time, then Additional Function key. Press copier, function CLEAR, ERR, then OK. Power cycle the copier and the error is reset. Again if the error come back you will have to check the fuser assembly, heat lamps, thermistor, thermofuse, etc. There is a problerm thsat needs to be fixed and continuing to reset may do major damage to the copier.

Please give suggestion for error code E 000004 - 0001

This is a fuser error given by the thermistors in the fuser assembly. It is indicating the fuser is not reaching tmperature quickly enough. You can first reset the error by first clearing any jammed paper in the copoier. Then press the Additional Function key, then the 2 & 8 keys at the same time, then the Aditional Function key again. This should get you into service mode. Press COPIER on the display then Function ( across the top ), then CLEAR then ERR then OK. This clears the error out of memory. Power down using the main power switch then power back on after a few seconds. If the error comes back check to see if the fuser ever got hot, be careful the roller do get very hot. If hot then the thermistors may not be reading the correct temp and they will ahve to be replaced.

What does error code E000001-0000 on a Canon IR5000 copier mean

The error code is much more likely to be E001, this is a fuser type fault. You should be able reset it in service mode. (copier, Funtion, Clear, error, turn m/c off then back on)
As the issue is a fuser temperature related. First, the error needs to be cleared. Turning off/on won't do that.
You could go into service mode and clear the error (*28* > copier> function > clear > err > ok. Then turn the copier off, then on again and watch it heat up. I always monitor the temperature to make sure it's in the acceptable range (190 C or around that range).
If it happens often I'd have the thermistors changed. If it still happens, check the connectors in back of the fuser. They may need to be shimmed.

E0004-103

This problem is caused by the fuser unit that fuses the ink to the paper. You will need to reset the service error in the service mode before the code will be reset. The procedure for resetting the service error is in the manual but is entered by pressing the * 2+8 buttons together and then * again. Then select FUNCTION - CLEAR - ERR Then exit service and turn the machine off and on and the code should go. If not then replace the thermistor suggestedin the manual for such codes.
You can find the ir5570 service manual here.

Error E000001 -0010

The error code is for the fixing assy not getting to the correct temperature in a specified time. The 0010 part of the code is indicating the copier was turned off and back on without resetting the error. To reset the code, Press the additional function button, then the numbers 2 and 8 at the same time and then the additional function key again. The display will now be indicating the service options available. Touch COPIER, then FUNCTION at the top of the display, the CLEAR in the middle, then ERR, then OK. Power down copier at the right side rear, then turn back on. If the error comes back then you will have to check the fuser assy to see if the front drive gear has failed or one of the thermistors has gone bad. Good luck
