You have to let it install and dont connect your phone until it has finished once it has finished then click on mototrola phone tools icon on the desktop. it should tell you to set up your phone click next then once you have done that then you it should give you 3 options click cable. then next and follow the prompts.

Motorola tools software not working with "Vista"

Did you download and install the USB Data Modem drivers, too?

Also, on your phone go to: Settings > Connection > USB > Default connection > (and make sure Data - or Internet - transfer is selected and not Memory Card?)

Go to the following website:
http://motoroladownloads.webs.com

Sign up to enter the site. (It's as easy as 1-2-3)

As a member, you can then download the Motorola Phone Tools (PC Suite) for your PC for free.

**Make sure you download the USB Drivers, too.

The download for the PC Suite is in .zip format. You'll need to unzip it to a new folder. (You can create a new folder on your desktop)

After unzipping the file to the new folder, double click on it to open > locate the >>
Setup884ac5e.jpg icon and double click on it.

This will install Motorola Phone Tools (PC Suite) on your PC.

Start the Phone Tools Program by double clicking on the icon on your desktop.

Download the Data Cable/Modem drivers and attach your phone to your PC with a USB data cable.
(You may also be able to use Bluetooth)

The PC Suite will include all of your options on the left hand side. <...>
