SOURCE: there is ahen the conection for 3 min the net faild and reconnect

On your desktop tray, you will have a w-fi icon (may be just the usual network icon). Check your signal strength there. If it is low, you could be too far away from the router. Another thing that can cause problems are microwave ovens and cordless phones. The latter often uses the same frequency as the router (2.4ghz). If you have one of these cordless phones near either the router or the PC, the interference could be significant.

Look at those things, and if you can provide a little more information (does it reconnect on it's own?), I can offer further suggestions.

Cheers
Nick

SOURCE: wireless conection on off on off every 3 second

try the following separately each time:
1) Turn off the power off the router, turn off the PC, turn on the router, turn on the pc after a minute or two.
If this does not work, Try:
2) Remove the Wireless router Definition on your PC and reinstall it. Make sure that you are using the correct Passwords between the router and the PC.

Require string number to conect kodak esp5250 to wireless

Sounds like you mean default gateway which is normally something like 192.168.1.1 or maybe 192.168.0.1. It should be written in the user guide. Just open a web browser & type it into the address bar.

If you can't connect to the router then you have an IP problem. Make sure your computer is set to dynamically aquire ip address & it will connect. You can re-configure a static ip address once connected to your new router,

I am unable to connect to the internet using a wireless connectio

I would first try and reset the router, then run a Repair on the connection again.

If this doesn't work, try going into the Device Manager and removing the Wireless Device. Restart the computer and reinstall the Wireless Device drivers.

Cant conect to internet using wirles with Windows Vista

Hi,

This method will hard reset the wireless drivers back to default settings, but before you perform this remove power from the modem and router for 2 minutes reconnect power and wait another 2 minutes for them to settle down.

Right click "computer" select "manage" and then "device manager", a list will populate, then click on the + sign next to "network adapters" and right click on the wireless adapter and "uninstall" the device, reboot the PC and wait for windows to detect the wireless card and install the drivers for it, this will appear in the system tray (bottom right hand side) when its done try to connect again.

Good luck.

Trying to set up wireless from desktop (Main ethernet computer) to Laptop @ home. Have cable modem (comcast) connected to desktop (main ethernet plugged computer)Belkin Wireless Router G ethernet is hooked...

Check that the wireless drivers are installed properly on both your laptop and desktop. THe certificate error is because your laptop does not "trust" your computer. Under network conections click add a connection ec, and when you try to conect, microsoft should ask you weva to trust the connections from computer to computer that should do it :D

Wireless conection problems

As far as I can tell you can only connect to other people's computers via the network router in a wireless application. Even then your brothers computer must be on "share" setting to allow you to do so. Check your airport is working in the network settings function in preferences, if yes, go into you computer on the side bar there will be an icon called "network" click that once and you will see what your airport card is connected to and if your brothers cpu is on that network.

Lap top

what does it say? how many bars of singles do you have?

you may be connected, and it may have some bars of connection, but i think, that it is saying that you are limited or no connectivity? then that means that you are typing in the wrong network key that it need to "talk" to the computer and back to the router.

what you have to do is to connect to the router directly, open a internet page with that connection, type in the address bar, "192.168.1.1", by default, the user name blank, and the password is: "admin." you then go to the wireless tab, and under that tab, click. "security". type in something that you would remember in the passphrase box, and then click "generate passphrase." use the chart to coordinate where your network key is, then that is your network key that you must use in order to connect to the router, with a vaild internet connection.

i hope this helps, but i would like more information about the problem next time please.

Please help I can't conect to Router MR814V2 with wireless card Encore ENPWI-G2

Hi,

On Windows XP, the OS will prevent a connection to an unsecured wireless network such as what you have.

You can try:
Double click on the red WiFi icon, click on the "Change the order of preferred networks",  Click on "Add", type in the Network name (SSID) of your router (you can get this by using the connected PC and log in to the NetGear's Webbased Interface), set Network Authentication to "Open", set Data encryption to "Disabled",  OK, reboot your PC.

Alternately, you can set the PC where the Encore ENPWI-G2 card is connected to manual configured settings rather than Auto obtain. Follow what is in the connected PC's settings except that the  last number of the IP add be different (ex. connected PC > 192.168.0.100, set the unconnected PC to 192.168.0.101, all the rest subnet, default dns be the same. Of course the 101 must not be in use, if double IP add, change to 102).

In some instances, you may need to use the Encore WiFi configuration utility (normally comes with the drivers in the installer CD) rather than the Windows buil-in WiFi Config utility,

Hope this be of some help/idea. Post back how things turns up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.
