My emerson headset wont pair with my ipod is it possible for them to sync.

Your headset is a monaural device, and, as such, bears bluetooth profiles HSP (HeadSet Profile) and HFP (HandsFree Profile) only, which are suitable for handling phone calls. The iPod Touch is not a phone, though, for what it must lack those profiles. It does have A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) and AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile), though, which are meant for stereo music streams. In order to have a bluetooth headset paired with your iPod, you better purchase a stereo pair out there. There are lots of brands and models available.

You know, for some platforms there are some applications which are able to route all audio sources to a monaural bluetooth headset. I don't know if there are any of such softwares in Apple's app market. You could search for it, if you want, but be warned that such arrangements use to result in pretty poor sound quality.

Put that computer into pairing/search mode. Hold that headset's [On] button until blue & red lights flash. That computer should then find that headset if within 5 feet.

How do I pair ipod with bluetooth headset
1. go into your settings on your ipod and click on the bluetooth section so that it is open.
2. on your HEADPHONES press whatever button to start syncing the bluetooth(it will most likely start flashing blue or w.e color)
3. go back to your ipod, the device will show up in the list of avaliable devices, press it, connect it, there you go!

Emerson em229wm will not enter paring mode
Has anyone found a solution to this problem that actually works. My bluetooth was working fine for about a month ( yes EM229WM) now it will enter pairing mode ( flashes red and blue) but when phones search for it they can not find the device... If I do not find an answer soon I am going to just take the thing back to walmart

How do I sync my h700 Bluetooth to my iPod touch
depending on the model of iPod touch, it might not have bluetooth.
If it does, turn the iPods bluetooth on and set the headset into pairing mode. when the headset appears in the list of available devices on the iPods screen, press it and enter the code necessary for pairing (usually 0000 but it varies by manufacture)

There is no way such devices would pair with your ipod touch. It is only a few of such devices that can pair up with the ipod touch due to apple's strict security and procedures.

Why wont my headset pair it keeps saying wrong code
The passkey for most of the bluetooth headsets manufactured by Emerson is '0000' (four zeros). However, for some models, like the EM250 and EM252, they set it to '1234'.
As you have not specified your headset's model, I hope one of these codes works for you.

Can not pai emerson em227 bluetooth headset with iPhone.
Just got off the phone with Southern Telecom (Emerson's supplier)
If you return the unit with a note telling them you need the new model for an I-Phone they will send you a new one.

My m300 sprint cell phone wont pair with my EM - 700 emerson headset why?
Often, if you remove the phone battery while the phone is powered on, replace the battery, and try to re-pair the bluetooth headset, you'll be able to pair the two. Good luck!

With your phone closed press and hold the center button on the bluetooth until it starts blinking blue and red the open your phone and go to blue tooth> ad new device> then it will go to pairing then auto pairing and that should do it

Wont sync with iphone
Make sure that the headset and the phone are both are in "pairing" mode. Even though the iPhone's bluetooth is on you will have to select the headset from the phones bluetooth menu. To get the headset into pairing mode press and hold the "+" sign for 3 seconds. Hope this Helps!
