You don't have to replace the waste toner bottle at all. It's located on the lower right side of the copier. Remove the two screws and cover. You should see a plastic bottle there and remove it and dump the contents in the trash. Most of the time the bottle isn't even close to be needing to be empted. The copier has a counter for waste toner and when it gets, I believe over 250,00 copies, it displays to empty the waste toner. You should reset the counter after emptying the bottle. You do this by pressing the addtional function key, then the 2 & 8 keys at the same time, then the additional function key. This gets you into service mode. Be careful here, it can get you into real trouble if you don't know what you're doing. Press copier, then counter at the top right, then MISC, then wst-tnr, then " C " on keypad. The counter should go to all zeros. Press the reset button several times and you should be all set. Good Luck.
