Yamaha RXV367 Receiver Logo

I have a Yamaha Rx-v367. I have the Wii console connected as shown on page 17 in the pitiful excuse for a manual that comes with this receiver; composite video (blue, red, green) hooked up to AV1 and the R/L audio hooked up to Audio1 on the back panel. I get nothing. I realize it is analog but my understanding is that the receiver would still be able to pass the signal through to my HD TV via the HDMI out. Am I way off or is there just some simple output setting I am missing?

I can't get any video from my wii on the TV. Sound comes through but no video, I've tried using the wii A/V cables as well as some aftermarket component ones. hooked them up as shown in the RX-V367 manual....

Are you using HDMI output? if so then there might be an issue with the reciever itself but try hooking a standard a/v cable to the output of your reciever and see if the wii comes up on that screen, then we can go from there.

I don't think the Wii outputs an RGB signal, so you may not be hooking it up to the correct port. But in any case, if you look on the left side of page 13, it appears that this unit will not convert from one signal type to another, only pass them through to the matching output port. I'm still trying to verify that this is the case - if so, it's pretty disappointing because then you need to switch both the audio and TV inputs to change from one source device to another.
