N95 slider problem . LCD goes blank on sliding . it appears that there is problem in Strip. do u get separate strip or it comes alongwith slider....

No the Slider strip doesn't come separately because the strip is merged permanently to a circuit that has your earpiece ,light sensor,and front camera you cannot seperate it in any manner because the only unlockable part over there is the LCD screen .i would recommend you to get your phone serviced from nokia care only because the strip is the most important part in a slider .. even if you get a local strip installed from a local mobile repair center it wont last for a month ..even i had the same problem 4 months back ..because quality of the strip matters .......

I have a Nokia 6500, and every tine i slide it up or down the screen goes blank, but if i slide it up half way up it works. please fix it

The sliding mechanism of your mobile phone has a flexible paper like wire bundle called a wire strip. With time the wire strip becomes faulty and starts to have cracks in it. When this happens the display or the earpiece may not work. When you slide it up half way it works because the broken strip comes in contact for a moment. I will recommend you to take this phone to a Nokia service center. They will remove the faulty strip and insert a new one. They wont charge you much. I have virus problem while I slide it.
I think when you slide the slider there might be problem in your display this is not a virus, the problem comes from the Strip(Pata) so change it .100% OK

I have a problem with Samsung Soul screen going blank. When the slider is pushed slowly it will come one, but only until it is push back down. It has not been droppped.

This problem occurs due to the Connector strip failure. This strip is extensively used each time when you slide your phone so this is the part which has started to wear off..... you need to take it to a repair shop. can be changed if your phone is still under warranty.

My nokia n95 screen goes on but freezes all the time and i always get a black screen. the fone is still on but the screen is just black it only comes on when i put the fone into music mode ( when i slide...
your cellphone is fine. Its the strip which needs to be replaced.
actually the strip connects the LCD and the navigation keys.
U might have noticed sometimes your navigation keys also don't work.
get your strip replaced n your cellphone will be fine again.
slide up the phone and you will see 2 screws at the top.
get these screws removed and replace the strip and also do change these screws after the repairing.

Camera / video wont work ??
if you are getting the preview in the camera then there is no problme with the strip ...
if you are getting the preview error means then the camera strip is surely gone ...
you must take the cell to the service technician and get replaced with the new strip ...
as this the damageable service it is better to take to technician ...
"minor mistakes makes you pay more" ..
so just visit the technician ...

HI. 1ST U OPEN THE BACK COVER AND REMOVE THE BATTRY > NOW OPEN THE SCREW > PULL THE BACK COVER VERY CAREFULLY PULL UR MOBILE PCB VERY CAREFULLY AND REMOVE THE STRIP CONNECTOR SAME PROCEDURE FOR FRONT SIDE WHEN BOTH SIDES R OPEN THEN CLOSE SLID AND PULL THE STRIP FROM MOBILE'S SLIDE. THEN NEW STRIP ENTER THE SLID AND FLOWS THE SAME PROCEDURE IN REVERS CONDITION. NOTE -(WHEN U PULLED THE STRIP THEN MIND IT WHICH SIDE IS DISPLAY SIDE OR WHICH SIDE IS PCB SIDE.
