You could be affected by an earth loop.
This occurs when the computer is connected to one power point and the Creative Lab speakers are connected to a different power point.
To fix this problem, connect a power board to the power point and then connect the computer and Creative Lab speakers to the power board and any other computer components.

Humming sound cumin from my creative inspire 4.1 woofer

Make sure that you've fully pushed in the jack to the sound card.....maybe you've not connected the jack into the correct socket on your soundcard as there are usually 3 identical sockets...but only 1 is the correct one. Sometimes colour-coded green. Try it in each one in turn. If you have headphones, try plugging them in as you will hear sound in them when you've got the correct socket!

Humminf sound from subwoofer

Most humming sounds in speakers is due to electrical currents or wifi signals nearby the speakers.

Do you have any electrical cables near the speakers? Do you have any wifi device near the speakers?

If so move them out/away and see if there is any difference.

Left front speaker works the rest dont and the sub makes a hum

Either you have it configured incorrectly this time around, or the settings are defaulted back to original on your DVR........ adjust your DVR sound properties/settings. and check all wires/connections as well.
