The protector screen is $247.79
If the screen behind that is damaged, that one is $147.97
If the last screen is damaged, that one is $495.00
I hope he only damaged the 1st clear screen, known at the screen protector
I'm pretty sure it's just the screen protector that is damaged. If the screen behind that is damaged, it is very minimal (just a spot) and would be fine.
Where would I go about ordering a new screen protector? I'm assuming that does not include shipping, and the shipping will be very expensive.
Would it be easy enough to replace myself? Is it just glueing the protector onto the edges of the TV?
Would it be any cheaper to order a generic replacement from a screen protector website and not from Sony?
Thanks for your help!!
Actually, he damaged the first 2 screens.

You can install it yourself. I checked the shipping and it could be between 50-150. At their site log in as a Guest and click on the United States Origin in the middle top of the screen, enter your model number and search for SCREEN
Now you've got $400.00 invested, plus shipping.. Are you sure you want to do this

Thank you!!
No, I'm not going to.
They have brand new 50" plasma TVs on sale from Best Buy for $600 right now.
I'm sure we still won't be upgrading our TV for a few years. But, the crack in the screen is only a minor inconvenience for now.
I just thought I would check to see if it could be fixed for under $100. Thank you for the information!
