My IP4200 was working fine until yesterday, when I accidently triggered a huge print, and may have pressed the wrong button (or for too long) to cancel printing. Now it accepts my print command, feeds the paper through half way, then stops, with the top light blinking green, slowly. Turning off and on does not help. When I press the middle button the paper shoots through with no problems (but no print) so it is not a jamming issue. The cartridges (originals), which are nearly full, all show non-blinking red lights. I have taken out and replaced each one, in case the printer needs to recognise them again.
As I write, the top light is still blinking slowly, the middle light is on. I haven't noticed any amber lights flashing - always green.
Can you help?

If the Paper Feed Roller is dirty or paper powder is attached to it, paper may not be fed properly.
In this case, clean the Paper Feed Roller. Cleaning will wear out the Paper Feed Roller, so perform this only when necessary.
You need to prepare: three sheets of A4 or Letter-sized plain paper
1.Make sure that the power is turned on, and remove any paper from the Rear Tray.
2.Open the Paper Output Tray gently, and open the Output Tray Extension.
3.Clean the Paper Feed Roller without paper.
(1) Press the (Maintenance) button repeatedly until b appears.
(2) Press the Black or Color button.
The Paper Feed Roller will rotate as it is cleaned.
4.Clean the Paper Feed Roller with paper.
(1) Make sure that the Paper Feed Roller has stopped rotating, and load three sheets of A4 or Letter-sized plain paper in the Rear Tray.
(2) Make sure that b appears on the LED, then press the Black or Color button.
The machine starts cleaning. The cleaning will be completed after the paper is ejected.
This should fix the issue

Hi Maanita - I have checked, and there is no torn
paper in the carriage. The paper feeds through easily when I press the feed
button.
Regards,
Penny
It's the power light, and it continues to blink green slowly and regularly until I turn it off and back on again. Then it initialises normally.
I just successfully performed a print head alignment - the paper moved through and printed normally during the alignment. I tried to print a document immediately after, and the same problem occurred - it stopped half way and didn't print at all. (I tried printing from two different programmes with the same result)
The problem is fixed! I performed a bottom plate cleaning through the maintenance menu, and it is now printing normally.
