Then your boot sector in windows is corrupted.try to restore it if you can, but usually reinstall the OS is the only solution. If you have Install CD try it to recover bad sector.Good luck!

this happens when there is damage to the windows installation, or the hard drive itself. test your hard drive using an external hard drive casing, if the hard drive works then you can just copy your files to another computer, then reformat the hard drive put it back in your laptop and reload windows
