Model CTS90AWN Speed Queen from Alliance Laundry Systems. The unit shakes / vibrates quite a bit - I have read that this is a common problem. Also leaks a small amount of water from beneath unit (have not yet opened the pedestal to determine the exact location of the leak.

It is likely to be one of the thermal fuses. You can check them with a multimeter for continuity.

If its a standard top loader there should be a cap you can pry off on top of agitator. Screw or bolt is under cap.

Did you remove the shipping bolts from the back of the washer? They are located on the back, usually very clearly marked "REMOVE" and have a red or yellow plastic washer/bushing. This is a fairly common problem with front load washers, from what I understand.

They're big suckers, and they keep the drum suspension from absorbing any vibration (so the drum doesn't slam around during shipping). Good luck!
