SOURCE: Iphone won't work with bluetooth in mazda 3 2010

btw...the iPhone does have bluetooth without having to be jailbroken. it's a standard feature.

there are 2 different ways to connect the iPhone to the Mazda 3 2010. One is for using the music system (ipod connect essentially). the second is for the phone. I initially paired my iPod and was wondering why the phone wasnt working. If I remember correctly, you have to follow the instructions in the manual for connecting a phone (using the steering wheel phone controls).

If your phone continues to shut off when connecting...try connecting it to a laptop or some other bluetooth device. If it does it for that then I would take it in for repair. Also, try shutting your bluetooth off, reboot and then turn bluetooth back on...perhaps something is just 'stuck'.

Sensor to connet to WIFI and Bluetooth is locked, which part of the Iphone 4s should be change ?

Hi,
Begin troubleshooting with these steps first:
  1. Check that you are in range of the Bluetooth accessory with which you are trying to pair your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Most Bluetooth accessories have a range of approximately 30 feet.
  2. On your iOS device, tap Settings > Bluetooth and find your device in the list. If your device says Not Connected, tap the name of your accessory to attempt to connect it.
  3. Tap Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth off and then on again.
  4. Make sure that your Bluetooth accessory is turned on and fully charged or connected to power.
  5. Make sure that your Bluetooth accessory is in pairing mode.1
  6. Restart your iOS device.
  7. Tap Settings > Bluetooth and locate the Bluetooth accessory you are currently connected to or attempting to connect to. Then tap [img width="23" height="22" alt="" src="http://km.support.apple.com/library/APPLE/APPLECARE_ALLGEOS/TS4562/TS4562--i-01.png" data-hires="true"> and . Try to pair your Bluetooth accessory again.
    • Note: You may need to re-enter your Bluetooth accessory PIN if your accessory requires one. Some common PINs are 0000, 1111, and 1234.
  8. Restart your Bluetooth accessory by turning it off and then on again1.
  9. Update your device to the latest version of software. See how to update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
  10. If your Bluetooth accessory has upgradable firmware, check to see that you have the latest version
Thanks,
Apple Support

A friend connected a android phone's bluetooth to my itower. it worked, but now my iphone bluetooth does not connect. Can anyone please help me!

Pairing with iPhone
  1. Connect the iPhone Dual Dock or iPhone Bluetooth Travel Cable to a USB 2.0 port on your computer (not on the keyboard).
  2. Connect iPhone and the headset to the dock or cable. The headset pairs with iPhone automatically.
Pairing iPhone Bluetooth Headset with another Bluetooth-enabled deviceTo pair the iPhone Bluetooth Headset with another wireless device, such as a Bluetooth-enabled phone or computer.
Step 1: Set the headset to be discoverable
  1. Turn off the headset.
  2. Press and hold the headset button for about eight seconds, until you hear the startup tone and then five quick high beeps.

The headset is now discoverable and will remain so for about five minutes. The status light blinks while the headset is discoverable.
Step 2: Turn on Bluetooth on the other device and search for devices
  1. On the device, turn Bluetooth on and set the device to search for other Bluetooth devices.
  2. On the device, choose iPhone Bluetooth Headset and enter the PIN code 0000.
See the instructions that came with your other Bluetooth-enabled device for more information about pairing it with Bluetooth devices.

Can't pair to iphone 3g

Hi, the iPhone 3G definitely does work with bluetooth. In fact, I'm talking on a bluetooth headset with my iPhone 3G right now.

You have to put both your Southern Telecom Emerson Bluetooth Headsetand the iPhone in "pairing mode".

On your iPhone, click the Menu button, tap the Settings icon, tap the General icon, and then tap the Bluetooth icon. Make sure that 'Bluetooth' is set to "ON" and not "OFF". As long as you have this screen up, your iPhone is in pairing mode.

Turn your Southern Telecom Emerson Bluetooth Headset off and wait a few seconds. On your Southern Telecom Emerson Bluetooth Headset, press and hold and Answer/End button for Five Seconds, until a solid blue light comes on, which places the device in Bluetooth discoverable mode.

Now that both devices are 'discoverable', the Southern Telecom Emerson Bluetooth Headset will show up on that Bluetooth screen on your iPhone. Be patient as it might take a minute to appear. Tap on the Southern Telecom Emerson Bluetooth Headsetin the list on your iPhone, and then it will ask you for a passkey. The passkey is "0000" (without the quotes). After you enter the passkey, the Southern Telecom Emerson Bluetooth Headset will show up on the list with the word "Paired" next to it.

Now you're paired! Incoming calls will automatically be passed to your headset as long as your iPhone can find it nearby.

Good luck.

My iphone wont connect to the bluetooth in my valkwagen golf car?

As I have learned the hard way the iphone's bluetooth is only to pair with wireless bluetooth headset and car stereo. You cannot connect to any other kind of devices. Also you must have Iphone Os 3.0 or higher to stream music to your car stereo. If it still does not work then the belkin bluetooth audio receiver should solve your problen

Same exact problem- music player works fine with headphones

If you had a bluetooth device connected and it did not disconnect properly then the phone may be trying to play the sounds to the bluetooth and not the speaker, Turn the phone's bluetooth off and then on and it should work. Also, if you look at a sound file or video file it will show the bluetooth symbol next to it, which means that it is playing to bluetooth and not the phones other outputs.

Bluetooth problems iphone

bluetooth on iphone is crippled somewhat.. you cannot for example connect to another phone or a computer like you can with other bluetooth enabled phones.. The bluetooth on iphone can only be used to connect to headset/sat-nav hands free kits etc at the moment.. maybe in a future upgrade they will relax this.
