The sound suddenly went out on our JVC HD52Z575, that is about seven years old and otherwise works well.

If it's just a black box nothing in it,it sounds like you have tha closed caption decoder on check you instruction book for directions how to turn it on/off it's probably set on a text mode.

If your using component input or a/v input, the cc in the set is not used, only using the cable input jack will you be able to use cc. You have to activate it through your cable box or satellite receiver if your using either one of those.

Guns or CRT are probably ok. Your TV needs a convergence IC STK392-120 replacement. Lamp are used on LCD and DLP rear projection TV's. Color wheel are for DLP's. :)

This my be the power supply board. Capacitors will get leakey and wont let the set start up.

Power supply would be the issue the fix would be my good friends @ www.teexp.com I hope this helps.

first check to make sure the red and white cables are plugged in, then go into the menue , under audio hilight the tv speakers, make sure they are on, if they are, make sure the mute button wasnt turned on

make sure your center speaker is turned off in the menu

please check the vedio cabele for disconnection (the yellow coloured one).if the cable is RCA ,use your audio cable to check this.
