Not all Inputs and Outputs are working

Hi, plug red and white rca connectors from cd player to audio in - rear of tv.

If you hookup your TV directly to the coaxial cable, bypassing the cable-box, do you get a few channels? If so, then the coaxial cable is carrying a signal, which is good.

How are you hooking the output from the cable-box to the input(s) on the TV? Coaxial output port on box to coaxial input port on TV?
Red/blue/green "component" outputs on box to matching inputs on TV? Red/White audio outputs on box to red/white inputs on TV? HMDI output from box to HDMI input on TV?

You have to "tell" the TV which of the inputs:
* coaxial (with TV set to Channel 3 or 4)
* component
* HDMI
to "listen" to.

In my experience, reasons for seeing errors in VST System Link (VSL) are usually due to the digital signal path (audio and/or data) not being routed properly within the System Link dialog box. If for example, you're using s/pdif between two ASIO 2 compatible audio cards properly (OUT of card #1, to IN of card #2 - then OUT of card #2 back IN of card #1), you also have to set your s/pdif System Link I/O channels in the dialog box to the 'same' channel...If say your options are s/pdif channels 9 & 10 (or whatever they are), you set the I/O's of both computers VSL dialog boxes to either channel 9, or all to channel 10. You of course need to route your digital audio properly within your audio interface! (see your cards documentation on that).
You can test if it's routed properly by 'listening' to audio from each computer, from the other...meaning listen at computer 2, from computer 2 & visa-versa. If you hear the audio thhen it should be correct. But in order to 'hear' the audio (besides proper settings in the VSL dialog box) you must 'also' set those digital audio s/pdif channels within Cubase's VST Inputs/connections. But in 'this case', you use both channels 9 & 10 for your Inputs/Outputs. They also say it's best to place your VSL digital audio channels at the top of the Inputs/Outputs list.
You do not need to keep the s/pdif channels in the VST Inputs/connections to make System Link work however, that's if you need to 'listen' or if you need to test whether it's routed properly.
Getting VST System Link working can seem complicated at 1st, but once you understand, and have it working, you realize it's actually not that hard at all. I recommend taking notes, and writing down what you did to make it work, as you go along the way. That has come in very handy when I need to use it again. Also READ your PDF manual and follow that to the letter!

just use the main left and right outputs of the behringer to run xlr (3 prong balanced) to 1/4 inch (looks like a big headphone plug) cables into the inputs of the crown amp. the mixer has the xlr outputs and the amp has 1/4 inch inputrs, sop the cables will have to reflect that on both ends. run the outputs of the amp (rca outputs, i believe, you may have to get a rca plug to 1/4 inch jack adapter, and then use a 1/4 inch speaker cable) to the inputs of the speakers, again, the amp has rca outputs and the speakers will likely have 1/4 inputs, so you will have to address that wil an adapter. have each speaker in its own channel.

I have found the solution.

Using an Audioplex SPKCNV Speaker Level To Line Level Converter should resolve the connection issue.

The Schneider SPA-9705 is a 4-channel bridgeable amp. How you intend to use it and what speaker(s) or subwoofer(s) you are connecting to it will determine the appropriate hookup.

If used to drive 4 sets of normal speakers, you would connect your front channels to one set of inputs (usually 1 and 2) and the rear channels to the other set. You would not use the subwoofer outputs coming from the deck.

If used to drive subwoofer(s), you would need two "Y" adapters with a female input side and 2 male outputs. The cables marked "subwoofer" would be plugged into the female "Y" and the male ends would be plugged into the 4 channel inputs on the amp (paired as 1-2 and 3-4). The front and rear preamp outputs on the deck would not be used.

Speaker/subwoofer connections will depend of the number of individual speakers or subs, whether they have single or dual voice coils, and the impedances of the voice coils.

Well I guess my problem is a little less important. I have 1-2 3-4 5-? 7-8. I dont know where 6 went. I even checked to see if I could plug a wire into the input and toutch it with my finger to see if I got a vu response, Nothing.
