My Jura Impressa F50 shows a 'fill beans' messages, yet the compartment is full. When trying to draw off a cup of coffee, the grinder operates but I can hear no beans are being ground, a little water trickles out and then the machine stops indicating the 'fill beans' message. I have not changed roast or even changed the grinding setting, this happened from one day to the next. Have doen a clean as well, but that has not helped. How can I solve this.

You need to open the grinder, it`s probably packed with old fine powdered coffee that blocks the outlet. Clean this out and try again. Since it works normal when you use pre-ground coffee, there shouldn`t be any problems with any other parts.

Let me know if you want a description for have to open and clean the grinder.

Good luck!

SOURCE: Where can I find an Jura Capresso Impressa F9 replacement lid

The only sources I have been able to find are in Europe. They do not always wish to ship to the US however. In the US the dealers always want the repair, but seldome wish to sell parts outright. Try this website for parts.

SOURCE: Jura Impressa F50 - tray - fault 8

Hi, if you havn't already solved this one, it has been caused by pulling the drip tray/ dump box out while the brew unit was still active. Switch off the machine and insert the drip tray without the dump box. Turn the machine back on and the brew unit should re align itself.

SOURCE: my jura impressa c9 coffee machine keeps tellnd me

I just called their customer service 800-220-5701 with the same problem.

There's a point at the bottom of the chute where you can add ground coffee that tends to clog, especially if water gets in there. Access is from underneath - - remove the bottom tray and reach in - - it's not the hinged flap opening (that's the first thing you'll feel) but if you leave that closed and reach behind it, there's a silver-dollar sized area you're supposed to try to access and clean using a dry cloth. Once that's done you're supposed to try vacuuming from the top and then let it dry for a day or two.

Hello,
This sometimes happens when after cleaning the machine. I will explain: The beans have a natural oil on them as you know, that also helps coat the hopper for beans to fall. Sometimes when cleaning the machine, the natural oil that is built up around the hopper is not there. Once you brew a cup sometimes the light will go off on its on. If the beans by shaking the machine will not drop down, try using a wooden spoon and help get them going. Other way, is cleaning out the beans completely and then spaying some PAM (used for cooking). What I also did was locate the complete manual for you to download and read page 21 in the trouble shooting area. Here is the link you can copy and paste and put in your browser.

How to fix jura not coffee sign?

It is wanting grounds dropped into the trap door on top. If you open that trap door there is a sensor on the hindge that causes it to expect ground coffee to be dropped in there. This is how you would make a decaf cup with caffeine beans in it or flavored with regular bean in the grinder.
Check to make sure the door is closed. It should return to "ready" in about 10 seconds. If not cycle the power by pushing the on/off button or pull the plug.

Sometimes certain beans do not move freely throughout the grinder. Oily beans, which is not necessarily a bad thing, do not fall into the grinder easily and tend to stick. It is necessary to sometimes to just poke or stir the beans around with your finger to make sure they fall into the grinder. For a safety measure do this while your machine is turned off.

My Jura Ena gives a 'fill beans' message even though the hopper is full and it won't grind the beans even though it seems to be operating. Help.

Mine just started doing the same thing. I've always only used plain espresso beans. Only thing is I may have overfilled the hopper and packed the beans down a bit. How can I make it start grinding again?

My Jura Ena 5 gives a 'fill beans' message even though the hopper is full and it won't grind the beans even though it seems to be operating. Help.

Same thing happening to me right now. I think this has something to do with having used flavored beans (which I was warned not to do). Supposedly they gum up the machine.

Jura E9 grinder spins but does not grind

I had a similar problem, and solved it by turning the grinder by hand against resistance. Apparently the grinder wasn't really turning during the cycle and needed to be cleared. If your beans are "hopping" this may be a different problem.

It is says fill the beans even if the are full, snd dont make a coffee

Your grinder is probably clogged with fine powder. Set the grinder adjustment to a coarser grist, and see if this pushes out packed coffee from the grinder. Open the lid for preground coffee and clean out the outlet from the grinder.

It is the tamper in the brew unit that feels if there`s enough coffee before brewing. If this gets to far down during tamping, it will send a message to the mainboard that there`s not enough coffee, and the message Fill Beans will appear.
